Description

The 1908 Historic Jones Building, located central to the Black Hills, only 5 minutes from Sturgis, in Whitewood, South Dakota, is a must stay! The entire second floor has just been renovated in the turn of the century decor with an industrial flare but with all the modern conveniences! The sandstone pet friendly building is located directly across from the the oldest restaurant/bar in the Black Hills filled with history, Bullwackers' Saloon. Located on the second floor, has traditional 12 foot ceilings and tall narrow windows. Two of the bedrooms have the original wood floors and doors with transoms. There is a large den area with a kitchen with quartz island connected to a gorgeous deck, a large dinning table, game table and 55 inch flat screen TV. The condo offers a full laundry room inside at no charge. Out back, there is a beautiful deck perfect for an early morning cup of coffee or for grilling out. On the side of the building there is an open lot for dog runs. All bedrooms and den have cable tv, flat screen, and wifi is available at no charge. Located less than a minute from I 90, you can easily get to any tourist attractions in the Black Hills. There is a grocery store, gas, and three restaurants less than a minute away. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a gas range, and quartz island and seating for hanging out in the kitchen. There is plenty of parking. You will enjoy hanging out in the den area with its 55 inch flat screen TV, with direct TV and Netflix. All the bedrooms have their own flat screen TVs for relaxing private time. The home is set up wireless for all internet use at no additional charge. The master has a private bathroom and all memory foam beds. This location is only 5 minutes from Sturgis, 20 minutes to the historic town of Deadwood and the Adam's Museum, 25 minutes to Terry Peak skiing and tubing, a scenic hour drive to Custer Park, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Sylvan Lake, and Devil's Tower. It is also only 10 minutes to Spearfish Canyon and 30 minutes to Rapid City Malls. Just across the street is the oldest bar/restaurant in the Black Hills filled with history, Bullwackers' Saloon.

Getting around

A car is going to be needed to travel around the area since the Black Hills are quite spread out. Many people love to ride their motorcycles around because of the scenic roads. If you enjoy riding bicycles there are many trails in the area to check out. There also is a taxi service available known as the Canyon Cab.
