Harbour Lodge is a duplex apartment on the second and top floor of this exclusive development of 24 apartments, situated minutes from the centre of Whitby. It is fully, comfortably and newly furnished throughout to ensure that all our guests have everything they will need for a short or long stay. Originally designed as three bedroomed apartment, we have chosen to use the downstairs bedroom as a stylish dining room instead, meaning that the apartment is exceptionally spacious for two bedroomed accommodation. The accommodation comprises:

LOUNGE
Large lounge with big comfy leather sofas, 42" TV, DVD/video player, small balcony with views over Whitby.

KITCHEN
Modern and spacious kitchen including electric cooker/grill/hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine / tumble dryer, pots, pans and utensils, extensive range of crockery and cutlery

DINING ROOM
Light and airy room with plenty of space to enjoy dinner, large antique dining table

SECOND BEDROOM
Spacious room with sky lights, comprising double bed and two single beds, TV, plenty of storage.

MAIN BATHROOM
Bath with shower, WC, basin, heated towel rail, shaver point.

PLEASE NOTE:
The apartment is accessed by stairs (there is no lift).
Changeover day is FRIDAY.
£100 damage bond is required.
£20 key deposit is required.

A one hundred pounds deposit secures your booking with the balance six weeks prior to your holiday.Upon receipt of your deposit we shall either email or post you your confirmation details, included in your confirmation are how to get there, where to pick up the key and the balance owing.

Harbour Lodge is a very stylish apartment built in 2007. The apartment has a very modern feel to it with every room having been finished to a very high standard.

Downstairs is the high gloss cream fitted kitchen with all the equipment you would expect. The lounge is airy with two large brown leather settees, a coffee table, large tv and has French windows doors leading onto a small balcony overlooking the estuary. There is a separate dining room with window and sky lights, with an antique mahogany dining table which has seating for six people.there is a small cloakroom downstairs with WC and basin.

Upstairs you have the master bedroom with double bed and great views over the estuary extending across to Whitby Abbey. Off this bedroom is an en suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin with views accross the estuary, through the large Velux window.The second larger bedroom has a double bed and also has a double bed settee.

There is a main bathroom which comprises of bath with shower , toilet and basin.
All in all this is a very spacious, well appointed apartment with the added benefits of being only a five minute walk into the centre of Whitby and having secure underground parking.

Parking in Whitby is a bit of a nightmare, unless you have a designated space. Harbour Lodge has its own secure underground parking space directly underneath the apartment. The parking is accessed by remote control key fob, for which we will ask you to pay a 20 pound deposit.

Whitby lies on the coast of North Yorkshire, on the edge of the North Yorks Moors. North Yorkshire is a beautiful wild and rugged county, and the location for the famous Heartbeat and The Royal series on television.

It has an amazing heritage, with echoes of the Vikings ( see the Yorvik museum in nearby York) and the Civil War ( visit Helmsley Castle), and connections with Captain Cook and his trips to the New World.

The famous North Yorks Steam railway wends its way through the stunning Moors from Pickering right up to Whitby

Whitby

The whole area is teeming with things to do; for nature lovers there are wonderful walks over the Moors, beautiful beaches, amazing rugged coast line, rivers and waterfalls and forests; for adrenaline junkies there is Go Ape, Jeep Safari, horse riding, quad biking all in easy distance.

For days in Whitby itself, there is the incredibly quaint harbour, where you will have to try your hand at crab fishing, the famous iconic Abbey, Whitby's connections to Captain Cook, Count Dracula and the jet industry and of course the world famous Magpies fish and chips.

Come at Yacht Regatta time, Goth weekend time or North Yorks Wartime Railway Weekends for extra fun!

“Everything you could wish for in a holiday apartment”

Harbour lodge does not disappoint in any way - it is very spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped with everything you could need for a great holiday, and to top it all fantastic value for money. As the weather wasn't kind to us we spent a lot of time in the apartment, and with a fab 42" TV in the lounge, and a Playstation in the kids room everyone was happy. The overall feel of the apartment is great - warm & cosy despite it's size, with tasteful decor, lovely bedding & fluffy towels. Super bathrooms with loads of hot water. Underground parking is such a bonus & we hardly used the car all week as there is plenty to keep you busy in Whitby. The location of the apartment is ideal - just away from the main busy streets but only a couple of mintues walk to the supermarket & numerous pubs and cafes. We would highly recommend Harbour Lodge - thank you for letting us stay.

Clean, tastefully decorated and spacious apartment - all well equipped and within walking distance of the centre of Whitby - we had a fabulous week, Whitby and the North Yorkshire coast have a lot to offer to a holiday maker. The apartment was excellent value for money and the underground parking was a big bonus in a town where parking is at a premium. The only downside was getting the luggage from the underground car park to the second floor flat was a bit of a slog but all in all we had a fabulous week
