Very Good

“Absolutely fabulous accommodation”

Reviewed 22 Mar 2017

What a delight this cottage is. The view from the patio is stunning, and as an extra treat the hot tub is also placed here. The accommodation is the best we have ever stayed in ( and we have been to many !!) The weather tried to spoil it for us but the cosy feel inside meant we just spent longer lingering around the house. Everything was spotless and the décor was very impressive. Unfortunately we had to leave early due to a family problem but we are determined to go back some time (hopefully when the weather is kinder.) Apologies to you Amanda - as we left suddenly I forgot to comment in the guest book but I hope this review makes up for it. Thanks for your kindness.

Owner's reply: Oh wow...thank you so much for your glowing review, we are so pleased you had a fabulous time at The Old Granary, your kind words are very much appreciated. Your comments more than make up for not leaving a review in our guest book, thank you. Thanks again and kind regards Amanda

“Excellent 5* accomodation”

Reviewed 16 Jul 2016

We had lovely time in this beautiful house. Very high standard. Everything you'd need including fresh eggs! Fabulous views, including from hot tub. Idyllic location. Owners on site for any help, but very discrete so also complete privacy if preferred. Highly recommended. :))

Owner's reply: Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at The Old Granary. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back soon. Kind regards Amanda Brown

“Absolutely perfect!”

Reviewed 15 Nov 2013

We had a wonderful 'girlie' weekend with my sisters-in-laws and their teenage daughters! The cottage was beautiful with fantastic scenery. It has absolutely everything you need and the welcome pack is a lovely touch as is the shampoo and shower gel. The hot tub was ver y well used and the the log burner is a real treat. The White Hart Pub (about a miles walk) was lovely for Sunday lunch! All in all a fab time and would highly recommend!

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for taking the time to review our property on Tripadvisor. So pleased you enjoyed your stay and very much hope to see you again sometime in the future.

“perfect rural retreat designed with families in mind”

Reviewed 23 Oct 2012

We went there for a week with our 3 1/2 year old and were joined later in the week by another family with a baby and a 3 year old......really well laid out and cosy cottage, space for all of us and really high quality decoration throughout. Loved the hot tub, even in the mist but generally had a Fab week of October weather with amazing views......:-)

Owner's reply: Dear Guests Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on our accommodation. So pleased you enjoyed your stay with us and look forward to seeing you again in the near future. Kind regards Amanda
