“Wonderful accomodation, facilities and welcome”

Reviewed 6 Apr 2016

We stayed at Home Farm Cottages over Easter and were very impressed by the accommodation, facilities, location and warm welcome. Our four children ranging from 10 - 17 enjoyed the pool and games room and the spacious cottage was great giving everyone some space but allowing us to all come together for meals, games and movie watching. We loved the fact that the living room was on the first floor with beautiful views of the countryside and a fab log burner complete with logs for the colder evenings. Free WiFi was obviously an essential with teenagers! The pool was excellent, warm and clean and rarely too busy. The local pub did an excellent Sunday lunch and the beach was a short walk away. We had a wonderful chilled out week which was just what we needed and would highly recommend Home Farm. Many thanks to Sally for the warm welcome and for making our holiday so pleasant. We hope to visit again.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review Home Farm. Glad the teenagers enjoyed themselves....always a difficult age group to keep happy. See you again soon. Sal

“Excellent - Will visit again”

Excellent location and facilities. The property was exactly as advertised. We loved having the open room which included the kitchen, dining area and sitting all on the first floor - very sociable.

Thanks David.

“A Norfolk gem that I can't wait to revisit”

What a fabulous place! The owners couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful - fantastic cottage decorated amazingly, a 5 minute stroll to the wonderful pebbly beach and a short walk to the North Norfolk Steam Railway that had adults and kids enthralled. As we booked a bit last minute, we didn't have chance to research what to do but there was no need - a heaving folder full of what to do (and what to avoid - brilliant!) meant we could make the most of our short stay. The facilities were wonderful, with a swimming pool and a games room a short walk from the cottage and back at the cottage a wonderful garden perfect for our Easter egg hunt. Weybourne is a great village and so nice that you can leave the car behind and still have a full day. My boys (8 and 4) and Molly the dog were never bored and felt completely at home in the cottage which is exactly what I hoped for. I can't rate this cottage or the owners highly enough, I can't wait to rebook - hopefully I'll manage to get in considering I have told all my friends about it, they all want to go now!

Thanks Katherine - and for being one of the first guests in Driftwood Cottage. I think people are going to enjoy the new cottage! See you again soon. Sal

“Excellent family accommodation and facilities”

We stayed in Lapwing cottage in the February half-term holiday and had stayed in the same cottage in the winter a couple of years ago. The cottage is so comfortable and cosy and has everything we could have needed. Sally provides a very informative folder of information about the local area, things to do, places to eat, etc. The kids, ages 10 and 7, were easily entertained with the swimming pool, games room activities and DVDs available to borrow and, as the weather was fairly good, we had lots of walks: to the beach, along the coast to Sheringham, into Sheringham Park, to the train station, around Weybourne and Kelling. The Coast Hopper bus service is great for getting about if you feel like a break from driving. The Ship Inn is just round the corner and we enjoyed two very good meals there, dinner and lunch. It's very much the local pub too, so good for just going out for a drink. We are looking forward to the next time we have the chance to stay at Home Farm cottages.

Thanks so much for the lovely review. We look forward to your next visit. Sal

Well equipped and very comfortable accommodation, lovely pool and games room which we really enjoyed. Great for families. Stacks to do in the local area, this is our second visit and we will be back!

Thanks Jane for taking the time to review. Hope to see you again soon. Sal
