This holiday apartment is owned and furnished by the architect. In 2005 the building won the only Royal Institute of British Architects annual award for architecture in Devon and Cornwall. It has been featured in numerous publications. The apartment is exceptionally spacious, the sculptured roof creates an exciting interior with huge windows to make the most of the sea view. There are three balconies including an external sea facing terrace on the living level with table and chairs for 'al fresco' dining and to enjoy the magnificent sea view and sunsets.

Golf course 5 minute drive, approx. 10 min walk.: This is The Royal North Devon Golf Club which is the oldest golf course in England and very attractive.

Next to Westward Ho! 2 mile golden sandy beach, it has blue flag status. It is very safe for young children with many rock pools. Excellent for body boarding, surfing, Kite surfing and sand yachting. Life guards patrol the beach. 5 minutes from North Devon Golf Course. Beautiful coastal walks and magnificent sunsets.

Across the road from the beach, easy access. Restaurants, Pubs and shops with in a few minutes walk. playgrounds, indoor and outdoor nearby, park, Go-Kart Track, mini golf and many other attractions. Big Sheep Theme Park about 10 minutes drive. Pretty fishing villages such as Appledore 5 minutes drive. Clovely and Exmoor nearby, for exploring.
