A stylish duplex apartment set over the second and third floors of a converted Victorian terraced house in the lovely village of Westgate-on-Sea on the North Kent Coast. The apartment was converted in 2009 and is very comfortable and well-equipped with everything to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. The apartment is spacious and light with high ceilings on both floors. Being on two floors makes the property feel more like a house and situated just behind the small high street and near the mainline railway station you will certainly be in the centre of things yet still in a quiet oasis! The apartment is perfect for couples, young families and friends who want to be walking distance from the Blue Flag sandy beaches that stretch from Westgate to Broadstairs along this stunning coastline. The Turner Contemporary, Margate Old Town and Margate Main Sands are a 20 minute stroll or 5 minute drive away. Pebbles comprises of a stylish open plan sitting area with an incredibly comfortable sofa where you can sit and relax watching Netflix films via apple tv on the 40 inch LED TV or a DVD from the large collection whilst dinner is prepared in the stylish Magnet fitted kitchen area. There is a large oak table for family mealtimes and board games after dinner. The bedrooms are furnished with comfortable memory foam mattresses: king size in the master bedroom and adult size bunk beds in the upstairs bedroom plus a kids size bed ideal for a child unto the age of 6/7. The apartment is Gas central heated (cost included in the rental price with remote temperature settings to ensure the apartment is warm on arrival) with a thermostatic shower system above the large corner bath in the bathroom. There is a TV and DVD in the Master Bedroom, Free unlimited wifi and a Bose bluetooth sound bar in the living room. If you love to start the day with a coffee there is a cappucino maker. Westgate-on-Sea may not be as well known as its larger neighbours Margate and Broadstairs but it offers a wonderful village feel with antique shops, delicatessen, micro pub, cafes and even a cinema! Its a perfect base to explore the Isle of Thanet as well as slightly further afield such as Canterbury Cathedral & Dover Castle. We personally just love the Westgate beaches as low tide, as do our boys!

House rules

We are happy to welcome small well behaved dogs. Pebbles is a 2nd floor flat but there are two small greens nearby to walk your pooch! Between 1st May & 30th September dogs can't access the local beaches between 10-6pm. Outside of these dates dogs are welcome throughout the day! West Bay Cafe in Westgate is also Dog Friendly :)

Pebbles is a duplex, there are stairs to get to the property and inside. There are no stair gates so please be mindful with toddler age children

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Stephanie (the owner) a message.

If Stephanie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
