A detached modern chalet bungalow with large kitchen, including washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer, full-size fridge/freezer, dining room with patio doors to totally enclosed rear garden with furniture. Lounge with flat screen tv and dvd player,cloakroom and twin bedded room. Stairs leading to main bedroom with ensuite shower/wc, family bathroom and large single bedroom. Flat screen tv in main and twin bedrooms. Private parking for 4 cars. Dog friendly, no charge for 1 dog and £15 for 2nd. More than 2 please enquire. Discount for 2persons, T&Cs apply.

St.Elmo is in a lovely spot,close to the beach,and in walking distance to the sailing attractions.Everything is spotless,and very fresh.a very practical home,close to the Co-op,chemist,and take-aways,amongst other treats.

This wonderful home is the perfect location to explore the lovely little island of Mersea. You have everything you need on your doorstep but all the benefits of being in a semi rural location. The house itself was spotlessly clean and very well kept, it was also equipped with everything you needed to enjoy a home from home experience. The host was lovely and on hand had I needed to ask anything. I would definitely recommend this property.

Another lovely week spent at St Elmo. Everything is so well laid out, perfect for our needs and the dogs just love it. Close enough to walk to the beach with loads of wonderful places to eat in West Mersea. We will be back. Thank you both.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kathy (the owner) a message.

If Kathy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
