Description from owner

Description

Each very well-equipped and comfortable cottage sleeps 4 guests, and has its own patio garden with garden furniture and barbecue. The cottages are individual and in the same area. All have the use of a large lawned and walled-in garden which is great for children and in high summer there is usually a badminton net and racquets available on the lawn too.

We have a selection of garden games for children and plenty of space for running around. The swimming pool is shared use, and available from Monday to Saturday inclusive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and only for those residing at the cottages If the group exceeds12, we do also offer additional luxury farmhouse bed and breakfast for 4 people. The 3 cottages and 2 ensuite B&B rooms in the farmhouse means we can accommodate 16 people in total. Please don't hesitate to contact us for more details.

The England region

The South East of England is in great demand and plentiful in experiences. Diverse landscapes from the rolling South Downs National Park to the stunning coastline with some charming towns and villages. The area is steeped in history and offers something for all ages.

West Marden

The Roman city of Chichester, just a 15 minute drive from West Marden, has a wonderful Norman cathedral and famous Tudor Market Cross. Great shopping, stylish restaurants, pubs and cafes, catering for most tastes. The internationally acclaimed Chichester Festival theatre stages many different productions. There are galleries and museums and within a few miles, National Trust properties to visit. Fishbourne Roman Palace houses the largest collection of in-situ mosaic floors in Britain. Many of these were laid at the time of the construction of the Palace, around AD75-80. Around Chichester are some picturesque coastal villages, such as Bosham and Emsworth and the Isle of Wight is just a short ferry trip from Portsmouth. West Marden is just a 20 minute drive from the Cross channel ferry terminal at Portsmouth. The cottage is located in a pretty downland village and benefits from a local pub which is just a short stroll from the property.
