A delightful ground floor apartment (set in a quiet street close to all amenities ) , with a terrace that is reached via the open planned living room, takes full advantage of the great location. A real feature of the Harbourview apartments is, as the name implies, the wonderful views across the harbour (great for watching the fishing fleet unload their catch) out to sea and to the countryside surrounding Looe.

A short stroll along the picturesque winding streets brings delightful restaurants, pubs, shops and the harbour of Looe where you will find the charming family operated ferries to East Looe ( Looe is a working town so ideal to visit 12 months of the year.) The golden sands of the beach of Looe are also only a 10 min walk away!

The accommodation has a feel of relaxed beachside living and comprises a very stylish open plan living room with dining and kitchen. From the living area French Doors lead to the small private terrace with outdoor furniture. A great spot to sit with a drink while the tide ebbs and flows and take in the views! The kitchen is well fitted with an electric hob, combined oven/microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and a washer/drier. The double bedroom is tastefully furnished and the modern shower room with bath and power shower completes the accommodation. This is a lovely apartment that will be appreciated by guests seeking a restful holiday within easy reach of all the amenities afforded by the picturesque port of ancient Looe. Ideal for a romantic break or Honeymoon.
Walkers will enjoy the coastal path walks and there are plenty of places to visit by car including the Eden project and Lost Gardens of Heligan,Polperro, Fowey, Lostwithiel and the little villages of Kingsand and Cawsand.

Fine for all who can manage the few steps involved. Sorry no pets or smoking in the property but considerate smoking on terrace accepted. Beach towels not supplied.

PARKING: There is free on road 24 hour parking out of west looe towards Hannefore about a 10min walk along the coast road.
Loading and unloading is possible right out side the front of the apartment with parking a short stroll away on the quayside or at the Millpool car park by the main bridge a 5 minute walk away.
A weekly Summer pass is available and can be purchased for £38.50 Parking is free from 6pm - 9am so it may be more economical if you are going out for the day to pay by the hour. See below for full parking details including the Ring go service.
Parking in winter months is just £2.30 per 24hrs.

Cornwall with its dramatic coastline and romantic history has long held a place of special affection in the hearts of British holiday makers and foreign visitors alike. The rugged coastline and superb beaches combine to offer some of the most glorious scenery to be found in these islands. Inland too the rugged moors and softer country lanes offer endless opportunities for further exploration and on those cloudier days the Eden Project, Falmouth National Maritime Museum and the Tate at St. Ives offer splendid under cover diversions.The National Trust is also well represented in Cornwall with miles of unspoiled coastline and many fine houses and gardens open to the public including the amazing Lost Gardens of Heligan. The many other gardens in Cornwall are a special delight in the spring when they provide a blaze of dramatic colours.

West Looe

The delightful working town of Looe (ideal for winter breaks as well, as it is busy & open throughout the year!) is easily reached by road and has the added advantage of being served by a pretty branch line connecting at Liskeard with the main London to Penzance line. Local bus services connect to Polperro and outlying villages and the city of Plymouth is also served by regular connections. Liskeard is the nearest point (about 8 miles) for connections with the National Express coach network. Local taxis are plentiful and inexpensive.Also readily available are excellent water-sports facilities, fishing, diving, and boat hire, golf courses and pony trekking. The town has plenty of good restaurants and excellent fish and chips!! There are bakeries, food and clothes shops For wet days the city of Plymouth is only a half hour away with Truro just about an hours drive. The north Cornish coast - Padstow, St.Ives etc can also be reached in about an hour. Closer by the picturesque villages of Polperro and Fowey offer quaint streets with pretty shops. The link to Fowey by car ferry or from Polruan by foot ferry.

“Superb Apartment”

On arrival we found the Apartment immaculately clean and the furnishings were of a very high quality. The view from the terrace of Looe Harbour was outstanding. We had a very comfortable stay and would highly recommend this Apartment to any couple looking for a high standard of accomadation in a perfect location. Cant wait to book for next year.

“Lovely flat in great location”

This lovely little well equipped flat provided us with the perfect base for exploring this part of Cornwall. Great view across the harbour to East Looe, very friendly and helpful local people, good restaurants a short walk across the bridge, proximity to Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan - so may boxes ticked for us - we really enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed for a second week.

first class appartment very well situated and very well equiped every thing needed was there, spotlessly clean & tidy a nice base camp to explore cornwall from. loads of information in the appartment guiding you to all the attractions & places of intrest. we have already told friends & family about the appartment & advised them to try it out. an excelent holiday in an excelent accomadation we are sure to return.

A great location with amazing views across the harbour. The apartment is very comfortable with a homely feel. All the facilities you could wish for making it a great place to stay if the weather isn't too good! The location is perfect for the great range of restaurants in Looe and very central for day trips around Cornwall. Highly recommended.

Most pleasant neighbourhood with a lovely old church, a local pub, The Jolly Sailor, with Cornish singing evenings, a delicatessen and a mini market. Almos at the starting point of a glorious weaterly promenade and further along a beautiful coastal path to Polperro.

We stayed at Polmear for a week and it instantly felt like it was a cosy home away from home. Gorgeous apartment - with the most beautiful views of the pretty little seaside town. We had great sunny blue skies all week and sat outside on the balcony indulging in cream teas - watching at the fishermen and the tides come in and out - it was simply stunning! I thought the apartment was beautifully decorated and loved the seaside theme! it was very clean, comfortable and had everything you need. There is also a few shops only a couple of minutes walk down the road & the main town a quick boat ride across the harbour if you don't wish to walk the way round too - which was fun! As a photographer I found Looe absolutely great for seascapes, landscapes and got some awesome shots from this holiday! I cannot recommend this place enough - everything you need and more! Thank you!!!
