“Fabulous accommodation in superb location”

Reviewed 3 Nov 2014

Deep blue shore was a spacious extremely well equipped holiday home, our party was teenage children ,parents ,grandparents and the family dog,The ground floor en suite bedroom was ideal for us grandparents ,the sitting room with play station and wii excellent for passing away time for a teenage boy and the lounge had comfortable sofas to accommodate us all.The kitchen was superb ,really spacious and more!! equipment than at home.Everywhere was spotlessly clean and there were plenty of really soft fluffy white towels in all of the bathrooms ,the welcome pack was much appreciated we all had tea and biscuits whilst waiting for 'Tesco' to deliver. The views were fabulous and the property was an ideal base for exploring ,we particularly enjoyed The Eden project and the lost gardens of Heligan which were nearby.all in all a very good holiday .

This is the second time we've stayed, we loved it the first time and we loved it the second time, and if we visit Looe again, Deep Blue Shore is where we'll stay.

“Best self catering accommodation I have ever stayed in”

Reviewed 4 Jul 2014

We recently spent a very enjoyable week in Deep Blue Shore. The accommodation is of avert high quality and it is clear that a great deal of thought has been taken to ensure that the holidaymaker's needs are catered for. There is a huge kitchen with a table that would seat at least 10 and all the usual kitchen appliances. There I a lounge with two large leather sofas and TV which has Sky. Another lounge has Wii and A play station which we made good use of on the one wet evening we had. There are four bedrooms two ensuite and a separate bathroom and shower which was really useful for our party of three adult couples. Three bedrooms are doubles and the fourth a bedroom with two sets of bunks which is a little on the small side but adequate for children. The house is situated within 100 yards of the beach at Hannafore and this can be seen from the front garden and the front two bedrooms. Another plus is the parking-we managed to squeeze three cars on the front drive and there is further parking for at least one car at the rear of the property . There are plenty of resonantly priced restaurants in Looe and on a sunny evening a very pleasant walk but be aware that it is a steady climb back after the meal. As Looe is a busy fishing port there is always activity to watch or lots of water activities to take part in. We will definitely consider returning to Deep Blue Shore (or one of Alan & Dee's apartments) as this was the most luxurious self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in.

“Stylish, well equipped accommodation, an excellent location and a warm welcome.”

Reviewed 5 Jan 2014

We stayed at 'Deep Blue Shore' 28/12/13 to 04/01/14 to celebrate the New Year. On our arrival the house was immaculately clean and well laid out, the hospitality pack of local produce and wines, was well received by all the family and a courtesy phone call from the owners Alain and Dee, made us feel very welcome on the first day of our holiday. The house had everything we needed for our stay, good technology was available in all rooms and there were plenty of books, computer games, DVD's etc. The rear garden and play area were a great hit with the children. The sea views, close proximity of the house to the beach and nearby coastal walks, made our stay very enjoyable. We found plenty of things to do in and around Looe, even the arrival of gale force winds and heavy rain, provided us with excellent 'wave watching' opportunities and never spoiled our stay. There are a good selection of local shops and restaurants and locally caught fresh fish is available daily from the Quayside in East Looe. Plymouth, Liskeard and Polperro are all within easy reach just a few miles away. We all enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return to 'Deep Blue Shore' again. Chris and Marion Atkey

“Lovely house in a lovely position”

Reviewed 6 Nov 2013

The house is well decorated and well appointed. Everything is really good quality, and there is plenty of space and multiple bathrooms so suits a couple of families like in our case. Lovely views of the sea, moments from the coast path (lovely walk to Polperro), and a short walk into Looe where there is a very good choice of restaurants. Really couldn't fault it.

“Top quality from start to finish”

Reviewed 28 Oct 2013

Excellent quality and outstanding customer service. At every point of contact, meaningful and open communication gave us get the best from our experience at the property. Very high spec residence with space for all, inside and outside the property. Everything you could wish for or need from a beautiful place to stay and as a base for differing family units. Wonderful views from all areas of the property with beaches on the doorstep, coastal walks and local shops nearby. We felt at home on arrival, we had a wonderful holiday and did not want to leave.

“Luxury, 5 star quality holiday house”

Reviewed 15 Sep 2013

The house is lovely. It is spacious and very well laid out. Everything you might need is there. The fixtures and fittings are of a very high standard, and the electrical equipment was easy to use. It was spotlessly clean. The view over the sea is breathtaking and always changing - I loved lying in bed in the morning with the curtains open looking out to sea! The garden is great too. The trampoline was really good fun! Great place for rock pools, and Looe is a charming town. My family and I had a wonderful holiday and will hopefully return. I highly recommend it.
