The England region

Northfields is in the London Borough of Ealing which is conveniently located close to the centre of London. The attractions include the Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden, Buckingham Palace, the Royal Parks, the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, Madame Tussauds, the London Eye and shopping in Knightsbridge, Kensington, Oxford Street and Regents Street. Nightlife in London is fantastic, with an array of world famous restaurants, pubs and bars.Ealing's central location and wide range of transport links provide convenient access to many destinations including central London which is a 20 minute journey by underground. By rail, Paddington is a 10 minute train journey. Major road routes connect Ealing to Oxford, Birmingham, Bristol, South Wales, Central London, Heathrow and Gatwick Airport. Conveniently there are 'night buses' that run all night from central London to Ealing, the bus stop is just outside the apartment, during the day the underground runs every 5 mins into central London.Ealing, known as "the Queen of the Suburbs" is widely known because of Ealing Studios. These became famous for a string of comedy films in the 1940s and 50s including The Lavender Hill Mob. By 1912 the studios were the largest in England and they continue to be used today for film production. Some well-known films shot around Ealing include: The Importance of Being Earnest, Bend it Like Beckham, Calendar Girls, About a Boy, and Love Actually.

West London
