This unique and charming property was originally two weaver's cottages, dating back to the 19th Century, now sympathetically transformed into a lovely holiday home with some of the original features.

The cottage is quietly situated off the main street of the village and is within a few minutes’ walk of the excellent local amenities including shops, a pub and restaurant. There are two golf courses and some fantastic walks for all abilities from the front door into the Pentland Hills and along the old Roman road.  Glentress Forest which is ideal for any mountain bike enthusiast is only 18 miles away and bikes can be hired, if you prefer to bring your own bikes there is complimentary lockable storage at the property.  Horse riding is also available within

Glasgow can be reached in under an hour.

The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 king-size and 1 cosy twin on mezzanine level accessed via the hallway with PlayStation games console. Shower room: with rainfall shower, WC and underfloor heating. Lounge/kitchen: open-plan with woodburner (first basket of logs provided), double sofa bed, TV with sound bar,  YouView, DVD, Netflix and iPod dock. Kitchen area: with breakfast bar, cooker, microwave, coffee espresso machine, dishwasher and fridge. Utility room (low ceiling): with freezer, washer/dryer. Amenities: bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, electric and central heating included. Regret no smoking. 1 well-behaved dog.   Parking space adjacent. Location: shops, pub, play park and a restaurant within walking distance. Arrival: 4pm.
