“Edinburgh Festival Convenience”

Reviewed 5 Sep 2016

I very much enjoyed my stay in this apartment because it was close to the theatres that I wished to visit. It is also close to the shops and cafes. The kitchen facilities were adequate though I found it strange that the saucepans had no lids - that I could find. Apart from work being carried out on a building opposite it was a very quiet and relaxing spot to stay. The apartment is small but suited my requirements and would be fine for two people. It is unfortunate that I found the bed to be very hard so did not get the rest that I was hoping for. However, it might suit others who prefer a hard rather than a firm mattress. I would stay again for the convenience factor. A bonus was being able to view the fireworks from the castle each week-day evening.
