Description

An 1830's Farmhouse rebuilt from the foundation up while adhering to the home’s original footprint. This was done to pay respect to the period of the house and to the area it's located. Great care was taken to ensure the house maintained the lovely charm and quirks of the time like salvaging all the wood beams and reusing them throughout the house alongside an injection of the modern luxuries introduced by way of furnishings and utilities that bring the house into the 21st Century. Massive decks off the house with gas BBQ and a view of the most amazing sunsets. The Ponderosa is nestled amongst farmland and approx 10 wineries plus a couple Craft Breweries. Only 8 mins to the Villiage of Wellington where you will find award winning restaurants, a free beach, farmers market etc. You can also hop onto the Millennium trail which is 48 KM of a walking and cycling trail (and maybe a few horses).

Wellington, Prince Edward County is a gem surrounded by Lake Ontario, with all the charm of a small Village but the art and culture scene envied by bigger locales. Artists, Galleries, world class restaurants and chefs, beaches, farmer's markets, Wineries. A great place for foodies, cyclists, hikers, golfers, writers, wine enthusiasts or for those who just want to chill out with a book.

Wellington

We are comfortably nestled in amongst farmland and wineries. Wide open spaces and vineyards. Hawks soaring, wine flowing and birds singing. The Millennium Trail which is 48 km's dedicated to walking and cyclists only and is just down the road. Wineries such as Norman Hardie, Traynor Family Vineyard, Hinterland Wines, RoseHall Run Winery and many others all minutes away. The Healing With Horses farm is also minutes away where you can book sessions to mediate with the Horses, an amazing experience.
