“Thoroughly enjoyable stay!”

Reviewed 11 Jan 2015

We had a lovely time at One Button Hideaway. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a great base for exploring Yorkshire. The local pub, which served good food, was just a 5 minute walk away. If in the area we would definitely book this cottage again and we will recommend it to friends and family. Thank you Rod, for an enjoyable stay.

“Outstanding break with Outstanding facilities”

Reviewed 27 Feb 2014

To say "One Button Hideaway" is outstanding, gives the Hideaway an injustice!!! Amazing character in a beautiful tranquil environment. Rod and Ruth were friendly and helpful. The local walks and scenery are out of this world. I am fortunate to have stayed in many wonderful settings, however I was blown away by the character and facilities the cottage had. Masham, Fearby and Ilton are must visits along with the splendid "Druids Temple" If you go to Masham tourist information centre, the selection of walking leaflets fit and suite all walking types, wether it be a young family, experienced hikers or first time walkers, every variable is catered too. I will be staying on a regular basis and would highly recommend "One Button" the local pub has superb food that is surprisingly affordable with a great selection of locally produced food sourced. Thank you Rod I shall be seeing you again soon. From a very pleased visitor.

“Heaven is a place on earth. This.”

Reviewed 14 Oct 2013

This cottage is truly a piece of heaven on earth, where you can find peace and tranquility. Set in the English countryside, this beautiful cottage is equipped with all the comfort you need during a holiday. The owners are lovely people, just arrived they put in the fridge fresh milk and raspberries from their garden. We spent 6 great days of complete relaxation. Many thanks to the Graham family! Super super super recommended!

“Absolute perfection!”

Reviewed 18 Jul 2013

This was booked as a surprise trip for my husband's 50th birthday and our wedding anniversary. The 'hideaway' is just that, tucked away in the owner's (very friendly and welcoming) garden, with a private little patio area.So peaceful! The property itself has everything anyone could need--and then more! It is so comfortable and the cleanest we have stayed in ,in 25 years of holidaying in and around the Dales area.We enjoyed a visit to Thorpe Perrow, just a couple of miles away, also the peace and amazing history of Jervaulx and Byland(on our way there)Abbeys. We were very lucky with the weather ,enjoying breakfast alfresco! This was our first trip alone without any family, and we couldn't have wished for anything better, can't wait to come back!Thank you, Rod .

“Perfect Retreat”

Reviewed 6 Jun 2013

Wonderful cottage - comfortable, restful, quiet and private. In a stunning country location - ideal for walking or country motoring with Masham (Black Sheep brewery) and Ripon (Cathedral) nearby. The owner, Rod, is very easy going and a pleasure to deal with. I will certainly stay there again. Highly Recommended !
