Description

Nestling in the very rural tiny hamlet of Eastcott stands this large detached old cottage, which backs onto a small working farm and is set within its own quarter acre garden. The surrounding countryside is totally unspoilt, with pretty wooded lanes and natural grassland. The nearby village of Kilkhampton offers a good range of shops and a little way out of the village there is a first class farm shop. Eastcott Cottage is comfortably furnished, no frills and in keeping with the style and age of the property, and has a lovely restful atmosphere (North wind does bring the occasional farmyard smell).

Accommodation: Ground floor sitting room, inglenook fireplace with open fire. Second sitting room with TV/DVD. Kitchen, oil fired Rayburn, electric cooker and dining area. Scullerly/utility room, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. Shower room. Fairly steep stairs to first floor. Bedroom 1, king-size bed.
