These comfortable cottages are converted from former barns and have exposed beams and stonework which adds to their character. Situated on the owners' farm adjacent to the farmhouse, but where privacy is assured. Guests can enjoy the countryside views from the land and benefit from being a 5 minute drive from the sandy beach at Instow.

Lots to see and do nearby with Tapeley House and Gardens being a 5 minute drive away. Other attractions include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, both offer indoor and outdoor activities and events for all the family. The golden sands at Westward Ho! are popular with beach lovers and offer excellent opportunities for surfing and body boarding. Instow itself has a selection of small shops, an excellent mini-supermarket, superb riverfront hotel and a selection of restaurants and pubs all of which offer food. Wander along the promenade

Across the estuary is the small fishing village of Appledore, which has a history of seafarers and ship building and is worth a trip across the water.

Farm activities: guests are welcome to feed the chickens. Outside: shared use of extensive lawns with garden furniture and BBQ. Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen, Wi-Fi and central heating included. Electric by meter. Regret no smoking. 1 small/medium dog welcome in each cottage, please note that dogs must be kept on leads at all times due to the animals on site. Shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble drier. Location: beach, shops, pubs, restaurants 2.5 miles.

This reverse level cottage has unrivalled views from the first floor lounge and offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double with additional single and 1 double (extra Z bed available on request). Bathroom: bath with shower attachment and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan and spacious with woodburner and TV/DVD. Kitchen area with electric oven and hob, fridge with small freezer section and microwave. Dining area with ample seating.
