“The best by far!”

Reviewed 2 Mar 2017

This was our third stay at Warmwell and by far the best lodge that we have stayed in. Very spacious and comfortable. Fully equipped with everything you need and great both inside and out. Looking forward to returning in the summer months when we can make use of the great outside decking. Will definitely be returning!

“Fantastic Holiday - What a Find”

Reviewed 16 Aug 2016

My husband and I arrived at Warmwell Holiday Resort with our 4 year old daughter and two small dogs and collected the keys for Pine Lodge from Reception (check in time 2.30pm). The staff were professional and extremely friendly and we were given clear instructions as to where the lodge was located on site. We decided to purchase Entertainment Passes (which are £10 per person and valid for the entire length of your stay). The passes allow you into the complex to allow you to enjoy swimming, live music / shows / bingo (there is also a soft play area, outdoor play area, bar/pub type restaurant and roller skating rink). As we drove to the lodge where we would be staying for the next 7 nights, we travelled through a lovely rustic setting with a variety of lodges set amongst woodland and open grassed areas and past a fishing lake (where people were fishing), the occasional bobbing tail of a scampering rabbit, ducks and some wild deer (which was pretty amazing). Even though we booked in August which is considered a peak time of year, the site was very quiet, perfect for families or a couples’ retreat and very well kept. During our time there I spied no litter and no dog poop! Pine Lodge was perfectly located on the site, away from the livelier section (near the complex), extremely quiet and private (with a large parking space). The wooden veranda which almost circles the lodge was spacious and secure (for little one’s or four legged friends – well behaved pets allowed at owner’s discretion). There was a BBQ and a couple of seating areas which were surrounded by an assortment of shrubbery and trees which again provided absolute privacy from the other surrounding lodges. Pine Lodge is located behind the Ski slopes which had slightly worried me noise wise but due to the trees, no major noise from this area could be heard. When we entered Pine Lodge we were blown away. It is spacious and immaculately decorated, with unexpected extras such as a Jacuzzi bath, a BluRay player, TV’s in the main lounge, kids (twin) room, and the dining area. The kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and cooking equipment (including a dishwasher and a wine chiller – separate to the large fridge freezer). There is a utility room off the kitchen with a blinded window which was the perfect shaded area for our dogs to sleep / chill out (there is also a washing machine in here but we didn’t need to use this). The Lodge was extremely clean and there was plenty of wardrobe space in both bedrooms. An en-suite bathroom led off from the main double bedroom (with shower) and there was a main bathroom which could also be accessed from the twin room as well as the corridor. The furnishings were soft and neutral and of a high standard and very pleasant. Pine Lodge is the type of place you could stay for many weeks during the summer or the winter as it pretty much has everything. The main double bed was a bit soft for my liking but I got used to it after the first night. Phone signal for us was very limited (with our Network anyway – EE). Wi-Fi is provided by the site and a good signal strength could be found outside on the decked area or in the main double bedroom. The phone signal didn’t bother us too much as when travelling out of the site, the signal was picked up again. The site is perfectly located (although a car is essential if you want to explore the varied areas). We visited Portland Bill, Weymouth, Swanage (an absolute find for families), Dorchester (nearest Supermarket with Tesco), Pepper Pig World (great – but very busy), Corfe Castle but there was still plenty more to see. The owners of the Lodge from the point of booking to a few days before we travelled were extremely friendly and professional and communication was first class. We will be back! We would certainly recommend Pine Lodge for people wanting a luxury place to say which ticks all the boxes.

“I highly recommend Pine Lodge”

Reviewed 8 Aug 2016

This was our second stay at Pine Lodge and it was just as good as our first visit! The lodge is equipped to a high standard and in a great location at the end of a secluded close. The park itself has great facilities and even in peak holiday season it is not overcrowded. A very enjoyable holiday!

“Lovely accommodation - home from home”

Reviewed 6 Aug 2016

We had a lovely family holiday at Pine Lodge, Warmwell. The owner, Stewart, was very quick to respond to any queries. The lodge is much bigger than we were expecting and was a real home from home. Lots of wildlife to see - deer, heron, rabbits - all in the first couple of days. Very quiet location and a good base to explore Dorset. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, and has everything you need for your holiday. Do be careful on the decking when it is wet as had a good trip in more ways than one!

“Fantastic weekend away at Pine Lodge, Warmwell”

Reviewed 19 Jul 2016

My family stayed at Pine Lodge, Warmwell in mid July. It was an absolutely fantastic accomodation on a great park with excellent facilities. Pine Lodge is like home from home having everything you need. We had great weather so made use of the large veranda and outside furniture the lodge position was great as so secluded. The location was just a short drive away from Weymouth beach and other amazing attractions. We will definitely return and highly recommended.

“Great Lodge”

Reviewed 8 Jul 2016

A great lodge in a private and tranquil location surrounded by trees and purple flowering rhododendrons. We saw several rabbits and a young deer grazing near the lodge – an idyllic woodland setting. My family and I stayed here recently for a weekend. Communication with the owners was easy via email. Pine Lodge is stylishly decorated, spacious and comfortable. We have stayed at Warmwell (with Park Dean) several times before and the standard of lodges varied. When you book to stay at Pine Lodge you can relax with the knowledge that it is of a high standard and very homely. There’s a lot to do on sight including swimming, bowling, skiing and going down the slopes on ringo’s . There is also entertainment in the evenings. If you are not into that, the lodge is great to use as a base for your outings. We bought passes which cost £10 per person for any length or duration. Unfortunately, we didn’t use them in the end as we preferred visiting Weymouth, Smugglers Inn and other places along the coast including Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. The last day of our stay was very warm so we decided to have lunch at Sandbanks beach. The car park was full, which we should’ve anticipated, but the good thing was that we ended up on Branksome Chine beach – a fantastic place and great discovery. We recommend.

“Perfect, just what we wanted for our weekend break”

Reviewed 1 Apr 2014

Just returned from our weekend break and we were really pleased with the size of the lodge, it was perfect as we had family visiting us most of the weekend and the lounge area, especially, was very spacious. The kitchen was very well equipped and it was the perfect size for entertaining our guests. The lodge is situated at the end of the turning making it very private and peaceful. We had the added delight of the local deer visiting us each morning which was such a change from the foxes we are used to at home! We will definitely return to the lodge later in the year as it suited our requirements completely.

“Biggest and Best Lodge in the Resort!”

Reviewed 7 Aug 2013

We felt so lucky to have stumbled across lovely Pine Lodge. We had opted to stay in a privately owned Lodge on the Warmwell Leisure Resort, as we felt the standard would perhaps be a little higher and we'd get better value for money. Well we struck gold, as I honestly think Pine Lodge was the biggest and best lodge in the resort! The position of lodge was absolutely perfect too - right at the very end of a cul-de-sac. My 4 year old son had a great time riding up and down on his bike and I felt happy knowing that he'd be safe. The outdoor space of the lodge was amazing - WOW! What a lovely surprise! I can't believe how big the decking area was. So peaceful and private too, with no one overlooking you and views of the beautiful Dorset countryside to boot! Who needs to go abroad, when you can stay somewhere as lovely as this? The lodge itself was incredibly spacious (in fact, I think it was bigger than our house!) and was tastefully decorated - a really cosy home from home! We loved it all, but particularly liked spending time in the kitchen/dining area - such a great space for families. We left with heavy hearts and really hope we'll return again sometime with our extended family and say "Look what we found!"

“Best holiday ever”

Reviewed 20 Jun 2013

We have just returned from a fantastic 8 night family holiday in Pine Lodge. The lodge itself was stunning, really light and spacious, with all the home comforts you need when you are away, plus more! The weather was brilliant, so we ate breakfast and evening meal outside nearly everyday- the decking area was very secluded and proved to be a real sun trap. The Warmwell facilities were first class, the children loved the outdoor play areas and enjoyed spotting all the wildlife; because the weather was so good, we didn't use the indoor activities. My husband really enjoyed the fishing lakes, with some good catches over the week. The kids fishing lesson (with Izak) is also highly recommended - great fun for the family. We've never booked a private lodge before, but Stewart made it a really easy experience, which more than met our expectations. We look forward to coming back to Pine Lodge. Thank you.
