“Fantastic weekend away at Pine Lodge, Warmwell”

Reviewed 19 Jul 2016

My family stayed at Pine Lodge, Warmwell in mid July. It was an absolutely fantastic accomodation on a great park with excellent facilities. Pine Lodge is like home from home having everything you need. We had great weather so made use of the large veranda and outside furniture the lodge position was great as so secluded. The location was just a short drive away from Weymouth beach and other amazing attractions. We will definitely return and highly recommended.

“Great Lodge”

Reviewed 8 Jul 2016

A great lodge in a private and tranquil location surrounded by trees and purple flowering rhododendrons. We saw several rabbits and a young deer grazing near the lodge – an idyllic woodland setting. My family and I stayed here recently for a weekend. Communication with the owners was easy via email. Pine Lodge is stylishly decorated, spacious and comfortable. We have stayed at Warmwell (with Park Dean) several times before and the standard of lodges varied. When you book to stay at Pine Lodge you can relax with the knowledge that it is of a high standard and very homely. There’s a lot to do on sight including swimming, bowling, skiing and going down the slopes on ringo’s . There is also entertainment in the evenings. If you are not into that, the lodge is great to use as a base for your outings. We bought passes which cost £10 per person for any length or duration. Unfortunately, we didn’t use them in the end as we preferred visiting Weymouth, Smugglers Inn and other places along the coast including Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. The last day of our stay was very warm so we decided to have lunch at Sandbanks beach. The car park was full, which we should’ve anticipated, but the good thing was that we ended up on Branksome Chine beach – a fantastic place and great discovery. We recommend.

“Perfect, just what we wanted for our weekend break”

Reviewed 1 Apr 2014

Just returned from our weekend break and we were really pleased with the size of the lodge, it was perfect as we had family visiting us most of the weekend and the lounge area, especially, was very spacious. The kitchen was very well equipped and it was the perfect size for entertaining our guests. The lodge is situated at the end of the turning making it very private and peaceful. We had the added delight of the local deer visiting us each morning which was such a change from the foxes we are used to at home! We will definitely return to the lodge later in the year as it suited our requirements completely.

“Biggest and Best Lodge in the Resort!”

Reviewed 7 Aug 2013

We felt so lucky to have stumbled across lovely Pine Lodge. We had opted to stay in a privately owned Lodge on the Warmwell Leisure Resort, as we felt the standard would perhaps be a little higher and we'd get better value for money. Well we struck gold, as I honestly think Pine Lodge was the biggest and best lodge in the resort! The position of lodge was absolutely perfect too - right at the very end of a cul-de-sac. My 4 year old son had a great time riding up and down on his bike and I felt happy knowing that he'd be safe. The outdoor space of the lodge was amazing - WOW! What a lovely surprise! I can't believe how big the decking area was. So peaceful and private too, with no one overlooking you and views of the beautiful Dorset countryside to boot! Who needs to go abroad, when you can stay somewhere as lovely as this? The lodge itself was incredibly spacious (in fact, I think it was bigger than our house!) and was tastefully decorated - a really cosy home from home! We loved it all, but particularly liked spending time in the kitchen/dining area - such a great space for families. We left with heavy hearts and really hope we'll return again sometime with our extended family and say "Look what we found!"

“Best holiday ever”

Reviewed 20 Jun 2013

We have just returned from a fantastic 8 night family holiday in Pine Lodge. The lodge itself was stunning, really light and spacious, with all the home comforts you need when you are away, plus more! The weather was brilliant, so we ate breakfast and evening meal outside nearly everyday- the decking area was very secluded and proved to be a real sun trap. The Warmwell facilities were first class, the children loved the outdoor play areas and enjoyed spotting all the wildlife; because the weather was so good, we didn't use the indoor activities. My husband really enjoyed the fishing lakes, with some good catches over the week. The kids fishing lesson (with Izak) is also highly recommended - great fun for the family. We've never booked a private lodge before, but Stewart made it a really easy experience, which more than met our expectations. We look forward to coming back to Pine Lodge. Thank you.

“The lodge & park was ideal and met the needs of all of my family”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2012

Lodge was very clean and more importantly very homely, well presented throughout. An ideal place to stay in summer and even winter with lovely decking area for warmer days whilst also appearing to have a cosy feel for those winter evenings. Situated in a private and quieter area of the park whilst being less than a ten minute walk from the centre. Plenty to do on the main site for all ages as well as meeting all your convenience needs. Very relaxing time aided by the lovely surroundings including wild deer and large fishing lake. We all had a fantastic time and my children will remember this holiday for a long time to come.

“Fantastic, couldn`t ask for more”

Reviewed 17 Apr 2012

We have just got back from a fabulous Easter weekend at Pine Lodge, the lodge has definitely got the wow factor, home from home and idyllic. It's not overlooked at all and when the sun shines it fills the decking with warmth and there is nothing nicer than sitting on the lovely furniture and eating your breakfast in the sunshine and all you can hear are the birds singing. We really didn't want to leave the lodge but we made ourselves enjoy the skiing which was absolutely amazing and value for money. The first evening we had a meal at the onsite restaurant and it was very nice and reasonable. We loved going to Weymouth and walking our golden retriever on the beach especially Bowleaze Cove, which we love. We had planned to do crabbing but miss timed the tide both times but if you get it right it is great fun and you actually do catch lots of crabs! Overall our boys - age 15 and 12 had great fun and we managed to relax and have fun too, we'd go back in the blink of an eye! Highly recommend Pine Lodge.

“Exceptional”

Reviewed 17 Mar 2012

I stayed at the log cabin in march it my boyfriend for a few nights and it was absolutely fantastic it was so peaceful and beautiful. The lodge was So pretty and modern everything was tidy and smart and finished to an exceptional quality. The location was good as there were so many things to do surrounding the area on and offsite, I would defiantly return here again and recommend it to anyone.

“Didn't want to go home!”

Reviewed 4 Jan 2012

A beautifully luxurious place to stay! We were very impressed on arrival with the setting and the quality of the accomadation and very pleased to see the jacuzzi bath. It is exactly what you would imagine and hope for on your holiday. Great location in a quiet set away area of a holiday park with entertainment if you choose to use it. Although, we didn't - the lodge has everything you need for a cosy night in after a long day sightseeing and the kitchen was well equipped for my partner to make amazing meals. We loved the decking area (even in October) sitting out watching the birds, enjoying the garden and watching the visting deer in the mornings. We liked it so much we really didn't want to leave and will definitely be going back - so much more to see and such a lovely place to stay.
