Description

Welcome to Warmington in the Oxfordshire countryside. Set in 3.5 acres of open fields with a private drive to take you off the beaten track. Many famous stars have lived in this charming Cotswold village which is only 5 minutes walk from your accommodation. Visit the local traditional pub - enjoy the duck pond and village green en route. Our recently renovated cottages offer open plan living space with choice of Lombok four poster bed, fully equipped kitchen area and modern wet room . Towels and linen are provided . Enjoy your private garden area with it's countryside views. The property is on the ground floor. Please ask for mobility requirements..

“Exceptional”

Our stay at Lavender Cottage was one of the highlights of our trip. We left Australia in August and spent 5 weeks in Europe & then on to the U.K Have stayed in mainly self catering accommodation and Lavender was one of the best. Barry is a great host, without being intrusive. His eye for detail & the comfort of his guests is exceptional. Many Thans R&P Wallace

The cottage was exactly what we were looking for - spacious, clean and in excellent condition. Barry helped us sort out all of our travel, including driving us to the train station the morning of our departure. Warmington is idyllic and this little cottage is too. Would absolutely recommend a stay!

We found Lavender Cottage very comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed for a few days away..The beautiful surroundings and quietness gave us a very relaxing break and so many lovely places to explore in the area .. Lavender Cottage is by far one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed in, it ticks all the boxes, comfy bed, gorgeous shower/bath, superb cooking facilities and TV! As a romantic break for two it is equipt with everything that you need to relax. The design and interior of the cottage is of a very high finish and the use of space so very well thought out. The private outside space is again just right for two and does not feel at all over looked by the ajoining cottage or other accommodation on site. A perfect little sun trap in the afternoon with the most comfortable sunlounger for those who like to bask in it! Barry the owner, probably one of the nicest people I have ever met! His pride in the cottages shines through, he is the perfect host. The surrounding area is just stunning, everything you need is not too far away at all, from the shopping centre in Banbury to the pub down the road serving delishious food to day trips out, Blenheim Palace highly recommended, there is pleanty to do. Equally, staying put at the cottage is just as enjoyable. We will definately be returning in the future and will be recommending to friends and family.

Had a lovely 3 nights in this studio, which is compact but equipped with everything you need. The space has been used wisely & is very cosy. Cleaned to a high standard and the bedding was really comfortable, making me late for work as I couldn't get up! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others, especially if you're clean freaks like us. Barry is accomodating, friendly and helpful. He made us feel welcome and at home. Thank you Barry, hope to see you again soon.

Spent three days in this extremely clean and comfortable cottage. Exceptional facilities including modern bathroom, dishwasher etc. and flat screen tv. Lovely outside area to sit out if the weather is good and very well maintained by the owner, Barry, who is very friendly, helpful and goes the extra mile to ensure your stay is memorable. This is an excellent area with numerous places to visit - in fact we will need to return to see the ones we have missed! We will definitely be going back and have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who intends visiting this area.

We booked this delightful cottage as a last minute rental and it is everything we could have wanted for a total break over the Festive Season. Barry welcomed us very warmly and showed us all we needed to know about the beautiful property - a friend immediately. The setting is ideal for peace, quiet and easy access to many towns and villages, including Stratford upon Avon, Royal Leamington Spa, Stow in the Wold, Moreton in the Marsh and yet so easy to access the M40. All facilities are top quality and we were eagerly helped with any queries we had. We will be returning to this delightful property within the next few weeks - hopefully.

Lavender cottage has it all. Set in beautifull surroundings with easy access to pubs and visitor attractions. It is designed and equipped to the highest standard with some luxury innovations which make it feel extra special. The cottage is very clean and the linen crisp and white. Barry and his son are attentive hosts and nothing is too much trouble to make your stay the best it can be

Lavender Cottage proved an excellent base for us to walk the section of the Macmillan Way which passes through the village of Warmington. Barry made us very welcome and the cottage/studio was very comfortable, everything had been thought of and was of the highest standard.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Barry (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
