Location description from owner

The England region

Northumberland is England's most northern county, also known as the border county, it is renowned for its abundant castles, golden beaches, rolling hills and rugged moorland. Northumberland has spectacular countryside and vibrant cities. Enjoy a rural break in the Cheviot Hills or the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Explore miles of unspoilt coastline with dramatic cliffs and beaches. From the buzz of Newcastle to the historical riches of Durham, the area has something for everyone.

Warkworth

Warkworth Castle dominates the village perched at the top of the hill overlooking this pretty medieval village with its interesting array of shops, pubs and cafes. The village itself is surrounded on three sides by the river Coquet nestling as it does in the rivers bends, as it makes its way less than a mile to the North Sea. It is a perfect base for exploring the local area

Alnwick perhaps most recently famed by its association with the Harry Potter films which were filmed in the castle, is a small market town which boast world famous gardens.
