Just spent a week here, the bungalow was just like home, it was nice to get there and find it warm and inviting., it has everything you need, no arguing about what to watch it has two TVs. The position is excellent, 15/20 mins and you are down to the beach, 10 mins you have the main street with a good selection of shops, takeaways and resturants. Easy drive to Christchurch, Bournemouth and Poole, we went to Beaulieu Motor museum , well worth a visit. We would definite look at going back. Top location.

"Clean, spacious, well maintained and close to New Forest and beach."
A good size accommodation, clean, all electrics were working (T.V, Wi-Fi, stereo etc). The kitchen was well equipped but could do with being slightly larger and the lounge was spacious with plenty of seating. The dining room had a good, full size dining table for six and had plenty of room to relax. The down-stairs bathroom was loved by all of us as it had a full double-size walk in shower. The upstairs en-suite was very handy as it had a bath. Unusually for guest accommodation, the beds were very comfortable and the garden was well laid out but fairly small but with the beach and New Forest not far away it was not needed. Unfortunately, the garage was being built at time of stay but there was plenty of parking outside. We stayed as a family of 4, it was thoroughly enjoyable and felt very homely. 4/5

"excellent property and location"
we enjoyed a comfortable stay at this property with extended family, the accomodation was spacious and well presented, in a lovely location not too far from the beach and local shops. We found everything we needed in the property and there were lots of leaflets about local attractions. The owner provided an excellent recommendation for a celebration meal!

"Spacious and clean with a helpful owner"
This bungalow was a great place for myself, husband, daughter and parents to stay. There was plenty of room, with the added benefit of the extension meaning we could have space away from each other if need be. The bedrooms were a good size (one double and one twin on the ground floor and a twin in the loft) and having two bathrooms was an added bonus. The bungalow was spotless and a problem with the sink was sorted out by the owner immediately even though it was a Sunday. Compared to the rest of the property the kitchen was a little small and had an awkward layout but was perfectly adequate for a week's holiday. The bungalow was ideally situated for trips into the New Forest. The nearest beach is accessed down a steep path and we found it better to drive nearer Christchurch where the beaches are more accessible and sandy. There are restaurants and supermarkets all within a ten minute drive.
Thank you for your review. The kitchen is due to be changed next year and will be in the extension giving a large kitchen/dinning area. Current kitchen will then be 4th bedroom/play room for children.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your lovely bungalow"
This is a large bungalow with 3 double bedrooms. There is a large TV and Wifi in lounge and another TV in another room. There are 2 bathrooms, 1 with large shower and the other with lovely corner bath. A nice garden for children to run around in. highcliffe itself appears to have changed very little over the years. 1 mile to sea. took 15minutes to walk going through wood at bottom of road.

"Well equiped house located in a quiet area and ideal for a family holiday"
The booking process and response to our questions was handled quickly and professionally. We enjoyed a great week helped by some fantastic weather and the good space and facilities provided in the bungalow. Having a good sized modern TV and broadband internet access was a plus. The loft bedroom was also a good hideaway for the children. Highcliffe village was just a few minutes drive away and had a small COOP supermarket and a few other useful shops. For major food shopping we made a trip to Sainsbury's, just a few miles down the A35.

"Lovely house in a lovely spot"
Property had plenty of space inside and out for the kids to run around. All the rooms were comfortable and well equipped. Handy pile of leaflets to help us decide where to go in the 'Great British Summer' i.e. rain! Shame the weather not more reliable, but even when we were rained in we had enough space to relax and be comfortable. Easy to walk or drive to beautiful and lovely spots. A beautiful part of the world.

"NIce place and as described."
Nice place with "old world" charm that is close to everything that is needed. Walking distance to the beach in Highcliffe. (about 3 miles). The house is well maitained and was very clean on arrival. A few more pots and pans would be nice for those who like to cook while on holiday. Heating and hot water system will be a mystry for people out of country not use to boiler/radiator systems. Beds were great and rooms spacious. There is parking for 2 cars in back yard but it would have been nice if the gates were a little wider. Parked a Jetta and a Passat Station wagon with little difficulty. Internet would have been great . On the whole a very nice place and would recommend.

"We had a lovely stay at the beautiful Highcliffe House."
Highcliffe was clean, spacious and very welcoming when we first arrived. Me and my wife chose the bedroom upstairs although we'd have appreciated it if there were Velux blinds on the roof windows as the comes into the bedroom. We had to put the 2 single beds together and offered the master bedroom with a bigger bed to our couple friends with their baby boy, big enough room to place the cot, and then my mother-in-law who came with us chose the other twin bedroom on the ground floor. We all had a relaxing stay and were able to cook our dinners without any hassles as we had everything we needed (although pots and pans available were quite small, thin and flimsy and not ideal for cooking for big family, also knives and forks had to be washed thoroughly before we can use them) and cookers and ovens were easy to operate. We were able to enjoy the Euro football games thanks to the lovely telly in the living room. We have enjoyed the beautiful garden too. We also loved the huge bath next to our bedroom, so was quite convenient. Only thing is, my wife can't stop remarking about the lack of mirrors in the bedroom where she prefers to do her make up and perfect her over all look. So would be great and will certainly be helpful if mirrors could be put ie inside the wardrobe doors. All in all, it was a very good stay and will definitely recommend it.

"Fantastic bungalow with loads of space, really nicely done! Love the location the beach is just 5 minutes away!"
The bungalow felt really welcoming on arrival, it was lovely and clean with spacious rooms and really comfy beds! The garden area was fun for the kids to explore as it had a summer house and a small hidden area with a bench and a pond. The New Forest is almost on the doorstep, everywhere you drive you are going through parts of the new forest with plenty of wild ponies and horses around! There are lots of places to visit all within a half an hour drive (Top Gear and James Bond museum, Bournmouth town) and it was really nice that a selection of leaflets was left out for other places around Dorset.
