“Great place to stay.”

Reviewed 19 Feb 2014

On arriving the cottage is open plan and very spacious. The rooms are big and there is plenty of attention to detail. It was perfect for what we wanted. The wifi is very slow and hardly any reception in the area but this wasn't a problem for us. It was a great stay and i will be returning.

Owner's reply: Thank you for posting this review. We apologise for the wi-fi. We are in a poor reception area, but we have upgraded our modem & have installed a booster to The Cottage. Best wishes.

“Great lil home”

Great little cottage. Heated under flooring throughout. Full panoramic patio doors with a lovely garden for the doggie to run around in. Close to sherwood forest for forest walks. Everuthing about this cottage was fab! Thanks

Owner's reply: Thank you very much for taking the time to post this review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. Wendy & Richard

“Absolutely fabulous cottage for young families”

Reviewed 14 Jan 2012

We stayed between Christmas and New Year with our young children (1 and 5), the grandparents and a dog. The cottage was very warm and cosy. It's a very spacious place even for 6 people. The sofa bed is in a separate lounge downstairs and in effect a 3rd bedroom. The kitchen is the best equipped we ever had in holiday accomodation. The garden is brilliant and our 5 year old was up a tree most times. The gate on the drive closes and therefore makes it a very safe garden. All 7 of us hugely enjoyed our time in and around the cottage

Owner's reply: Hi - thanks for this positive review. So pleased that you all enjoyed yourselves and had a good time.

“Excellent”

Beautiful house. gorgeous village, amazing country. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Everything was provided, the cottage itself was more than we could have ever expected and the owners were more than helpful without ever being intrusive. We can honestly say that, throughout our entire European trip, this was the most relaxing and enjoyable time that we had. We would recommend this cottage (and the owners) to anyone who wishes to experience the real England

Owner's reply: Thanks ever so much for this review. We are glad that you enjoyed your time at The Cottage in Walesby. Hopefully you will have many good memories of your trip. Best wishes - Wendy & Richard Holloway
