Wadebridge is the centre point for the Camel Trail, a popular cycle and footpath alongside the Camel Estuary from Bodmin to Padstow (bikes can be hired at Wadebridge).

The nearby village of St Mabyn is a two minute drive from the farmhouse or a 20 min walk and is a lovely working village with church and village store and popular with many for its great pub which serves excellent food.

The farmhouse dates back over 200 yrs and is full of character with traditional clome oven features, a wood burning stove, and range. The house benefits from central heating in every room. Downstairs there is the kitchen, sitting room and piano room. The kitchen is light and spacious, with range and double electric oven to cater for large parties and an old farmhouse table seating eight. The sitting room is kept warm and cosy with a wood burner and the piano room has a piano (untuned!) and bed sette with books, games, wifi and a cosy fire place!

Upstairs there is a bathroom with shower, a large master bedroom with king size bed, a second double bedroom with sink, a twin bedded room - the beds and mattresses can be converted to a large double bed, and a small single bedroom; all bedrooms are south facing and have a lovely view and aspect at the front of the farmhouse.

Outside there is a sunny front garden with outdoor seating and at the back of the farmhouse parking for up to four vehicles. A utility room adjoins the farmhouse with a separate toilet, fridge freezer, washer/drier, BBQ, garden chairs and plenty of space for bikes, wetsuits and surf boards!

Change over is usually Saturdays though on occasion there may be flexibility - contact owner for more details.

Some pets are welcome such as well behaved dogs - contact owner for more details. An extra charge for cleaning will be requested.
