“Fantistica Holidays in an amazing nature”

Reviewed 27 Sep 2015

It awas the second time we enjoyed the peace and tranquillity of la Lecciatina every day. It was a perfect stay with beautiful surroundings, absolute quiet and a charming authentic Tuscan accommodation. The views of Tuscany from the apartment and the garden were gorgeous, the hosts were lovely and their homemade marmalade fantastic. If you want to know where to go for a nice outing, the hosts can tell you where to find the special places no ordinary tourist knows about. We discovered Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa, Volterra and Florence with a lot of additional information. Coming home in the evening from our city tours, we enjoyed watching the spectacular sunsets in the middle of nature. But our most impressive tours were in the closed nature reserve of Berignone. The hosts explained us, how to find this still wild and pristine area. You can talk a walk directly from the farmhouse house or take the car first. The highlight is the river Cecina with different water basins where we swam in the crystal clear water. A real tourist free place. Refreshed from swimming, we had some fantastic evening meals, we would never have found without the help of our hosts. Fantastic holidays!
