"superb apartment in excellent location."
The whole process of renting the apartment ,the prompt and efficient emails from Irene and the first class on site support from Claire speaks volumes for a very classy apartment and holiday rental experience. You can travel return via water taxi for Euro 2.60 to Valetta and there are excellent restaurants on the Marina.Very safe and secure with friendly and helpful security.Irene arranged pick up from the airport and return at 6:30 in the morning which was excellent. If you are going to rent a car I would advise using one of the major companies at the airport.I took the advice of our friendly and helpful taxi driver who got us a great deal on a very dodgy ancient Kia -cheap but nasty! all in all a good holiday in a luxury setting.

"Excellent location made for a super stay in Malta"
From Ivan meeting us at the airport to the assistance and care from Liz, local agent for the owner Irene, this was an excellent holiday. The apartment is spacious, spotless and extremely well equipped. The immediate area is very well served for wine bars and restaurants just a couple of minutes walk from the apartment. The shops in the village provide basic provisions. We used the buses for the first couple of days and then hired a car very cheaply locally and explored the island, crossing on the ferry to Gozo. Weather was warm as was the sea. A lovely time of the year to visit and enjoy some much needed sunshine. We are already planning our return trip. Thank you Irene.

We arrived in Malta quite late in the evening and thus it was nice to be met at the airport and be taken to the apartment by Ivan. The apartment was clean and comfortable with all modern amenities. Air-conditioning was a definite bonus. The welcome pack with bread, milk etc was particularly useful as not many shops were open the following day (Sunday). There is plenty to do in Malta - beaches, culture, war museums, waterpark etc. Whilst public transport was reasonably priced and comfortable, waiting for a bus in the heat was not! - Hiring a car is a must. We enjoyed the waterfront restaurants, all of which were within easy walking distance. Local shops nearby provided all necessary amenities. The best thing about the apartment was that it was not located in the busy touristy parts of Malta yet was within easy commuting distance. I would definitely recommend staying here. Irene the owner kindly answered all our queries and Liz the manager was also on hand to help out if required.
Thank you for such lovely comments and glad to hear you enjoyed the welcome basket. We are delighted you had such a wonderful holiday and will look forward to seeing you again on the waterfront.

What a marvellous winter escape and many thanks for a great holiday!!!! We were in Malta in January in this superb apartment overlooking one of the most beautiful harbours in the Mediterranean in the picturesque medieval city of Vittoriosa. The apartment was really spacious and full of natural light, from the large open plan living and seating area you can see the spectacular view, was so nice to have comfortable leather sofas to lounge around after a great day of sightseeing, the apartment was kept really warm by the reverse cycle units in every room and heated towel rails in the large bathrooms. Attention to details was present all around; comfortable beds, lots of good quality pillows, luxurious quilts in the bedrooms, and even and alarm clock that works. Very well equipped kitchen, I-pod dock to listen to our favourite music and even a DVD player with a selection of DVD’s, a dedicated area for our laptop and fast WIFI service. Everything is nearby a short walking distance to cafes and restaurants on the super yacht marina and lovely wine bars and gourmet restaurants all around the cobblestone streets of Vittoriosa. Don’t miss the Tuesday market just outside the gates and great sea food at any of the cafes on the waterfront. Booking and service was excellent!!!! We will be back!!!!!!
Thank you for your very kind comments, we are so glad you were able to experience Malta in the winter it has so much to offer. Looking forward to welcoming you again in the medieval city of Vittoriosa.
