Discover the unspoilt beauty of the Viterbo countryside and the rest of northern Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany while staying in a "home-away-from-home" self-catering cottage, looked after by English hosts.

The cottage sits in the grounds of the 'Lavanda Etrusca' farm, a working farm harvesting hazelnuts, soft fruits and vegetables. The cottage is just the other side of the farmhouse garden, so we are close at hand if you have any questions but, at the same time, you are completely private due to the fence and screen of bushes and trees between you and the farmhouse.

The accommodation consists of an open kitchen and living area, 2 bedrooms (a double and a twin - which can be converted into a double if needed) and a bathroom with shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, cooker, kettle and dish washer and there is a washing machine in the bathroom. The living area and bedrooms have air conditioning.

Outside there is a patio with a covered pergola where you can enjoy lunch or dinner and a BBQ. There is a large grassed area behind the cottage, ideal for children to run about on or for you to laze around on sun loungers, enjoying the peace and quiet.

While we do not have a swimming pool, less than 30 minutes away you can enjoy either the lovely beaches of Lake Bolsena or the thermal spas of Viterbo, or just 15 minutes down the road is a beautiful swimming pool in the grounds of a hotel where you can go for the day and have an excellent lunch included in the entrance fee.

A newly opened supermarket is just 2 km away as is the train station.
