Borgo Clara is a farm house located in the Vinci hills, Tuscany, surrounded by typical greenery such as olive trees, vineyards and chestnut oaks. Easily accessible within walking distance, you can visit the centuries-old Holm of Faltognano, registered as a monumental tree in Tuscany and invested with the Touring Tuscany award by the Consuls of monumental trees in 2007. Before we get to Vinci, we can find Anchiano, Leonardo da Vinci's birthplace, and his own house. The building is located in a landscape that is still similar to the one Leonardo has contemplated since his childhood. In Vinci you can visit Leonardo's Museum. With its two different locations –Palazzina Uzielli and the Castle of Conti Guidi- Leonardo Museum represents one of the largest and complete collections of machines and models created by the brilliant technologist, scientist and engineer.

Vinci

Not so far away, you can visit many other interesting medieval towns such as San Gimignano, Certaldo, Montecatini Alto…not to mention the most important artistic cities of Tuscany: Florence, Pisa, Siena, Arezzo and Lucca, easily accessible from the farm. Sports lovers will have the chance to enjoy hiking and mountain bike and to practice a variety of activities, including golf in the large and important fields in Vinci, Montelupo, San Miniato and Montecatini. This area offers an incredibile variety of food and wine. Each resort has its own culinary tradition and follows up the production of excellent wines. You will have the chance to visit the cellars producing rare wines such as Chianti, Lucca's Montecarlo Bianco Montecarlo, Montespertoli and San Casciano Chianti. In spring and summertime you can enjoy several festival and gastronomic events
