"A wonderful break; great hosts, great food, great views."
Wendy and Dick were wonderful hosts and made us feel perfectly at home. We travelled with friends and young children and they made every effort to help us, give advice and cater for the children. The food and drink was great and we particularly appreciated the evening drinks in the hot tub overlooking the valley! We drove to Bourg to get the funicular up to Les Arcs every day which was easy as we had our own vehicle but snow chains were a must! Overall, a great stay.

We have stayed at Le French Chalet several times and always have a lovely time. We are looking forward to our next visit. The chalet is well equipped, has breath taking views, a wonderful cosy fire and a hot tub that’s perfect at the end of a busy day skiing. Dick and Wendy’s hospitality make this chalet extra special as they are both very warm and welcoming. The meals are of a high standard which are to be looked forward to after an energetic day.

"Absolutely top notch"
I've bee lucky enough to spend two holidays at Le French Chalet and I cannot rate it highly enough. Wendy and Dick are wonderful hosts and treat you as one of the family. The food is home cooked and is of the highest standard. I hope to visit them again soon and cannot rate Le French Chalet highly enough.

"Great location, friendly helpful people - my 3rd trip here and I love it."
We have visited for skiiing on a number of occasions now and really enjoy coming here. Dick and Wendy (the owners) live to one side, and go out of their way to help and assist. Nothing is too much trouble including getting you too and from the slopes / local bar bar !! The chalet itself is in a small hamlet. It is quiet, and well renovated. It's also at the end of a mountain road, so in winter there is no traffic, a part from the occasional early morning snow plough (if you are lucky wto have snow that is ). We have gone both catered and self catered. Always looked after well. My personal likes are the fire, the tub (see photo), and the cosy atmosphere. The chalet location is about 5 mins drive to the local lift (@ Villaroger. This a great access point for the whole Les Arcs network, and always fun going for the last lift back. Its also one of the most really beautiful ski's routes home around. One work of caution on this point though - Villaroger is not really a beginners skiing resort, but there are plenty of nearby villages which are easily accessible, anf of course Les Arc iteslf. For intermediate upwards really you cannot beat it. Highly recommended. In fact, enjoyed it so much we just have to come back again.
