The Algarve enjoys year round sunshine and is famous for its excellent golf courses, beautiful coastline and stunning beaches where you can enjoy water sports a plenty.
There is something for everyone from the gypsy market in nearby Quarteria, go-karting for the young & young at heart in Almancil or maybe a day at Aquashow or Zoomarine.
For some retail therapy there are large shopping malls in Faro and Guia.
Vilamoura
Vilamoura is a 20 minute drive from Faro airport which is serviced by most budget airlines.
Taxis are available from the airport and will cost around 30-35euros. There are numerous car hire outlets including Avis & Europcar but Zitauto offers the most competitive rates. Buses run from the airport but may not travel directly to Vilamoura.
An airport meet & greet service is available on request.
