Bright & cozy one bedroom carriage house in Fairfield boasts private entrance & parking off laneway. The fully-fenced yard w/outdoor playset is ideal for children & pets. Located 2 blks to Cook Street Village, 4 blks to ocean & 15 min. walk downtown.

Our bright one bedroom garden suite is warm and bright, featuring large windows and skylights. The kitchen is well-stocked and includes a dishwasher and washer/dryer. It is well-insulted and very quiet inside the unit. The bedroom features a comfortable queen size bed and cable TV. The living room has a futon that sleeps another two, cable TV, WiFi and a small workstation. For those guests with small children, we can provide a playpen and toddler-age toys. We also have a couple of bicycles that you can use (add'l fee may apply).

You will have access to a private carport, small patio w/BBQ and use of the yard. The yard is fully-fenced and has a rugged outdoor play area. It gets a lot of sun during the day

We live in the main house are available for any questions that might arise. You'll have our cell phone numbers for questions if we're not at home. There is a binder full of local attractions, maps and all those sorts of things that will make discovering the area pretty easy! We can help with setting up excursions, especially fishing charters!

The deadbolt is operated with a code, which you'll have access to once your booking is confirmed. We are available for as much or as little interaction as you'd like.

There is so much to explore in Fairfield, Victoria & Vancouver Island! Cook Street Village has a variety of shops and cafes - pretty much everything you need is right there for your stay, even a drop-in yoga studio! Beacon Hill Park is great for exploring and there is a great playground & zipline nearby. There is a petting zoo, small water park for children (seasonal) and off-leash dog run that extends down to the beach. Downtown Victoria is a 15 minute walk away.

There is free parking off the laneway and free street parking at the front of the house. Stops for the #3 (Downtown/Beacon Hill/Gonzales), 7A (UVic) and 2/7N (Night Route) all run from stops only steps away. Victoria Harbour is a 20 minute walk away and you can be in Downtown Vancouver in under 1/2 hour via seaplane.
