The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor and has beautiful views over the surrounding countryside and hills.
Ideally situated in the heart of the village and just a two minute stroll away from the lively village square, cafes, bars, restaurant & supermarket. Vicopisano is Surrounded by a beautiful landscape of pine covered hills, sunflower fields and olive groves an ideal landscape for walking, trekking, cycling and mountain biking
Vicopisano is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful region of Tuscany such as the cities of Pisa, Lucca, Florence and Siena, as well as being just under a 30 minute drive away from the Pisan coast, its beaches, Thermal Spas and Golf course.
The romantic bedroom is housed in the 12th century tower. The double cast iron bed is a period feature typical of the region, dressed with Crisp white bed linen, sumptuous pillows and cushions. An antique chandelier hangs from the beamed ceiling.
Situated off the living room with character beamed ceilings. The shower, WC, bidet and wash basin are contemporary in design with a mix of ceramic, glass and chrome fittings. Complementary hand soap, hand cream & shower gel, and bathrobes
The stone built kitchen unit is very typical of Tuscan design and is fitted with modern appliances and fully equipped for those wishing to cook at home. Cooking hob, oven, fridge/freezer, toaster, even a cool box/bag ideal for beach days and picnics.
A small recess with doors situated off the living room has a washing machine, iron and ironing board.
The room is stylishly decorated with a mix of both traditional and modern pieces, there is a comfortable sofa bed which sleeps 1 adult or 2 kids. There are occasional tables and a writing desk with stationery. a small LCD flat screen TV, DVD player, selection of DVDs & CDs
A charming loggia with a large open recess where guests can escape from the heat of the day, enjoy the cooling breeze of the evening and admire the countryside views and hilltop white chapel. The perfect place to relax with day-beds & floor cushions.
Casa Colomba is situated on the 2nd floor of the Tower house and is accessed by 34 steps with a banister on both sides. The apartment has a private entrance and shares a communal entry door on the ground level with the owners. The property is not recommended for those who have difficulty negotiating stairs.
There is a garden at Casa Colomba, which can be accessed at the rear or the property. Nearby pool (5 minutes drive) see notes on accommodation.
Free parking is just 100 metres away in a free car park used by the residents of the historic centre. For unloading the car you may park outside the property.

“A unique experience.”
We feel so lucky to have stayed in Casa Colomba and experience the best week of our month in Italy. Right from the welcome Marie and Lorenzo gave us on arrival we felt at home in this beautiful, unique apartment in a tower. The locals were so friendly, the food was delicious and the country walks fantastic. We got to see the real lifestyle of Vicopisano and we are determined to experience it again!
