COVID-19. Your safety and comfort is important to us. We have always strived to ensure the apartment is spotlessly clean but we have introduced additional disinfection measures to limit, as far as possible, any risk of cross infection from one guests stay to the next. There will also now be a minimum of 2 full days between bookings. Our apartment is 60 sqm, modern, and on the ground floor. With 1 bedroom it sleeps 2 adults and 1 child in a comfortable king size English divan with microcoil mattress and a good quality single “put-me-up”. There is a full bathroom with a shower over the bath. The lounge has comfortable leather reclining sofas, Smart t.v and a radio/cd player whilst the kitchen is complete with cutlery, crockery, a range of pots, pans, oven dishes and storage containers. There are split air conditioning units to the lounge and bedroom giving cooling for our hot dry summers and heat for the cool evenings of winter. There is also heating in the bathroom. The rear patio is a good size and is accessed via patio doors from the bedroom. It offers morning sun and welcome shade during the hot afternoons of summer. The lounge has access to a private front terrace which enjoys afternoon sun and is equipped with sun loungers, a charcoal bar-b-q, table and chairs for “al fresco” dining. We provide bed linen and towels (but not beach towels). Located in a gated urbanization on the outskirts of a typical Andalucian village it is set within well tended gardens and has a beautiful pool area which is open all year. . The beach is 10/15 minutes walk and from April to mid September there are 2 chiringuitos (beach bars) serving drinks, tapas and meals throughout the day and evening. The area has something for everyone, white villages, historic cave houses and buildings, horse riding, diving and of course, golf . Desert Springs Golf Club can be reached by car in just a few minutes and there are a further 3 courses nearby. The apartment is 15 minutes from the A7 motorway giving easy access to either Almeria, Alicante or the new Murcia Corvera airports. The village has all the amenities you will need for a relaxing break and if all you want is sun, sea and sangria then a car is not a necessity. However, we do recommend a hire car if you want to explore the area as public transport is very limited. When booking flights or planning your travel please remember You can arrive and depart at any time between 10 a.m and 6 p.m. Monday to Friday. Weekend and arrivals on fiestas have restricted meet and greet hours. Please get in touch before booking if your travel plans include weekend or out of hours arrival. We will do all we can to accommodate you.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Barry & Sandy (the owner) a message.

If Barry & Sandy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
