Description

LANA, a 4th floor walk-up (55m²), is a very tall-ceilinged bright and comfortable apartment. With a characteristic Venetian floor, its spacious rooms are simply decorated, making it very pleasant to live in. It has beautiful views over the rooftops of Venice.

You enter the apartment through a spacious hallway (4.4m by 1.40m) leading to the different rooms in the apartment.

The living room (18m², western exposure) is very bright with 2 windows overlooking the rooftops around Piazzale Roma. The room is furnished with two sofas (one of which is also a double sofa bed), a wooden wardrobe, two coffee tables, a desk and bookshelves with a few books.

The kitchen (11m² - facing west with a large window overlooking rooftops), without a door, has a large table against the wall and four chairs. It is completley equipped with a double sink, washing machine, gas cooker, electric oven and refrigerator (with freezer), cupboards and all the necessary cookware.

The small bedroom (5.50m² - with and east-facing window) has a wardrobe along one entire wall and two bunk beds. The other wall and sliding door of this room overlook the corridor are opaque glass.

The bathroom/WC is small (3.30m², east-facing), has a sink, toilet and large shower (90 x 70cm) with a high window where you can see, by a play of reflections, the steeple of the Frari and the bell tower of St. Mark's.

A 5-minute walk from the Grand Canal and the train station, the apartment is located in the Santa Croce neighborhood. Nearby, the campo San Giacomo dell'Orio, away from touristic routes, is a haven of peace. In nice weather, children play outside while their parents relax in the shade of large trees.

This neighborhood, far from the crowds and frequented mainly by Venetians, is nevertheless only five minutes by foot to the Rialto area and 10 minutes to Campo Santa Margherita, one of the most animated and popular squares in Venice. Here you will find many bars and cafés frequented by students.
