Here it is possible to watch both a morning sunrise and also an evening sunset over the sea.Apparently the high level of salt content combined with the long hours of sunlight here on the Mar Menor has created mud that has a therapeutic value for skin conditions such as sores, ulcers, acne and abscesses. It is also said to have anti-inflammatory properties and good for treating gout, rheumatism and arthritis. The villa overlooks a scenic nature reserve where Flamingos come from Africa in the winter to the lakes where they regain their beautiful pink colour before returning. The Mediterranean Sea and Mar Menor are only a short walk away. Large, private garden and private pool, (24 x 12ft wide). At night attractive pool lights can be turned on. The gardens are pleasantly designed with tropical plants to create a private and peaceful setting and lights up at night with solar powered lights. There is ample garden furniture and lounge beds, large umbrellas and a permanent brick barbecue adjacent to pool area. There are 3 terraces -one roof terrace with 360 degrees panoramic views over the seas and two patio/veranda on the ground floor. One large facing the pool great for entertaining, and the other facing the kitchen great for early morning breakfast (both with furniture). Off street parking is available. The Mar Menor lagoon provides sandy beaches with safe water, and water sports. On the other side is the Mediterranean with many beaches and never over crowded. Over 50km of beaches and many places offer water sports on the Mar Menor including kite surfing, sailing, fishing, jet skiing.5 minutes drive or bus ride to Tomas Maestre marina that offers an excellent range of bars and restaurants offering many types of cuisine with its 'café lifestyle', bars and restaurants around the exciting Marina and flanked with a wealth of international restaurants including French, Asian, Italian, Norwegian, Greek, Mexican and of course Spanish restaurants have contributed to the areas cosmopolitan reputationThe Murcia area is host to many beaches of wonderful warm clear waters including the Mar Menor, Europe's largest lagoon. Due to the Mar Menor lagoon being so shallow at a depth of only 7 metres at its deepest point, it means during the summer the water becomes very warm. Swimming during the evenings is a possibility and with miles of sandy beaches that are mostly blue flag, there's enough room for everyoneIt is not just the spectacular selection of blue-flag beaches and history of Murcia that attracts many visitors to this region, it also boasts a spectacular coastline and one of the most famous of its stretches is The La Manga Strip. This unique up and coming area situated on the Costa Calida or The Warm Coast is an ideal location for sea lovers and with the Mar Menor on one side and the Mediterranean on the other it almost feels like an island.Due to it being located between two seas, La Manga is also an ideal place for water sports. There are sailing and skiing schools that run periodical courses, as well as windsurfing and catamarans. The Mediterranean can be enjoyed by those who prefer high waves for windsurfing and the entire coast also offers a series of areas that are ideally suited and perfectly isolated for diving, such as Cabo de Palos and the rocky depths next to Isla GrosaWalking distance to the Collados Beach Club Located in The Veneciola at the end of La Manga del Mar Menor. It is 4,600 m2 of unique land between the Mediterranean and the Mar Menor. It is a private area offering an idyllic and protected atmosphere by the sea where you can swim, scubadive or sail whilst enjoying a variety of leisure activities, lounge bar, restaurant, even a sun terrace, jacuzzi and swimming pool. You can also enjoy fine food or light dining as this is one of the most attractive features of the beach club. Location description from owner

The Region of Murcia region

Costa Calida means 'WARM COAST' and is situated to the south of the Costa Blanca, on the east Mediterranean coast, starting with the Province of Murcia and runs south towards Almeria. Costa Calida has breathtaking mountains, fertile agricultural land and miles of beautiful Blue Flag beaches making this a very typically un spoilt part of Spain. The weather on the Costa Calida is the best in Spain . Winters are warmer and drier than any other part of Spain making the climate not only enjoyable but also beneficial from a health point of view. The average year round temperature is 20°C and there are approximately 320 days of sunshine per year, low humidity and very low rainfall making it a near perfect climate. The Costa Calida offers you the very best of Spain

Veneciola

The descriptive name of La Manga ("the sleeve") refers to an interesting geographical layout which has become one of the symbols that best identifies the coast of Murcia as a tourist resort: a chain that stretches along approximately 24 km from Cabo de Palos to the Punta del Mojón, and is the natural limit of the salt water lake known as the Mar Menor. Two seas on one coastline – the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean – , impressive cliffs, heavenly beaches of endless white sand, lively ports and wild coves with crystal clear water, more than 3,000 hours of sun a year and mild temperatures – even in winter – with a yearly average of more than 18ºC. This is the Costa Cálida, the ideal place to spend some days relaxing both in winter and summer.Due to it being located between two seas, La Manga is also an ideal place for water sports. There are sailing and skiing schools that run periodical courses, as well as windsurfing and catamarans. The Mediterranean can be enjoyed by those who prefer high waves for windsurfing and the entire coast also offers a series of areas that are ideally suited and perfectly isolated for diving, such as Cabo de Palos and the rocky depths next to Isla Grosa
