The Lions' Loft is a studio suite on the top floor of our restored 1908 heritage home. The suite has a full kitchen, Juliette balcony, gas fireplace with antique surround, queen size bed and a pretty ensuite bathroom with a custom shower and luxurious claw foot tub. The Bee & Thistle is a former B&B, now offering short or longer term accommodation in a lovingly restored heritage home with modern amenities for a touch of luxury. For stays of less than one week please see our listing under B&Bs. Although no longer serving breakfast, we continue to provide all of the comforts & the great location so praised by our guests over the past 7 years,. However, our neighborhood has numerous great breakfast restaurants within easy walking distance and we now offer special rates for weekly and monthly stays. All of our rooms feature plush linens, fireplaces, mini fridges, coffee & tea making supplies, flat screen t.v.s, net book computers & modern ensuite bathrooms

Our guest house is located in on a quiet street only 1 1/2 blocks off 'the Drive', a popular area of Vancouver humming with international restaurants, coffee shops, shopping and more. Common areas includes access to laundry facilities, antique stained glass and a sitting room featuring an antique mahogany fireplace surround. Sitting areas are available in the front garden, as well as on our wonderful front veranda and upper balcony, which provide lovely views of the spectacular north shore mountains and a peek at the Lions' Gate Bridge and Vancouver harbor. You may not ever want to leave the neighborhood but, if you do, we are only 6 minutes by car from the center of Vancouver, 1 1/2 blocks from the bus and a 10 - 15 minute walk to the sky train.
