A picturesque cortijo with private pool on a tranquil hillside with stunning views across to the Sierra de la Contraviersa. Large private pool, shady terrace to enjoy the views and peacefulness and less than a 30 minute walk along picturesque tracks into the village.

Simply yet comfortably furnished in a rustic style the cortijo (small country house) offers couples the ideal location for relaxing holidays. Located in a stunningly beautiful area with many opportunities for walking, cycling and bird watching, exploring local villages with their Moorish architecture and plentiful tapas bars or simply lazing away your days next to the pool or on the terrace.

Inside the house is centered around the atmospheric living room with it's wooden beams, log burner and morrocan lamps. A flat screen TV is cleverly secreted away so there's no need to watch if you don't want to.

There is also one double bedroom and a spacious fully tiled bathroom with shower, wc, bidet and washbasin. 

Outside the house the wraparound veranda offers the perfect space for whiling away the hours with a book, bottle of wine or simply the views.

The easterly aspect of the house is highly prized by the local spaniards as it offers early morning sunshine whilst protecting the interior from the heat of the midday sun. (Don't worry if you're a sun worshipper, there's always a sunny spot by the pool!!).

The pool is above ground with  wide shallow steps both outside and in. A generous 6 meters square it is comfortably large enough for swimming and just perfect for floating on a lilo.

Cortijo Olivar is located at the end of a well maintained track about 2 km from the village of Valor so there's no passing traffic to interrupt your solitude, the perfect spot for a romantic get away from it all holiday.
