To assure your safety during the Covid-19 pandemic we've introduced new disinfection protocols in line with the recommendations of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We're also leaving our house empty for longer periods between guests and are offering a self check-in facility to reduce contact.

Cuesta Vinas is a small hamlet famed for its naturally carbonated spring water. Situated just 2 kms out of the village of Valor, (a gentle 30 minute stroll), this casita is perched on the hillside above the hamlet and offers peace and tranquillity without being remote.Within the 4000 square meters of land are two casitas (Cuesta Vinas 334029) each with their own private pool, private sunbathing areas and their own gardens.Casa Verde has a beautifully tiled outdoor terrace to the rear of the house overhung by vines and olive trees where you can laze away the days in either sun or shade. There are sunbeds, a gas barbecue and a rustic outdoor dining area so it's also a great evening relaxation spot.. Steps from here climb through the lavender and past the soft fruit garden to the top terrace where you'll find the generously sized pool with second sunbathing area and stunning views across to the Contraviesa mountain range. Enjoy the flowers and butterflies which abound and the local birds which nest around the house and swoop around the terrace in the early morning and evening, occasionally taking a diversion through the house itself! The pool is filtered and contains a minimum of chlorine, so you can find yourself sharing with the occasional friendly frog!The sunny casita is open-plan with a well equipped free-standing wooden kitchen, central dining area, sitting area with wood burning stove and a comfortable bedroom area. Double doors open off the kitchen and a second set open onto the secluded rear terrace giving the space a very open and airy feel. The house is traditionally built with shutters which keep the space cool during July and August whilst ensuring a cosy space during the colder months of winter. The kitchen area is fully equipped with 5 ring gas hob, fridge with icebox and sink. There is ample crockery, glassware, cutlery etc. and you will always find the basic kitchen ingredients , such as oil, vinegar and a selection of herbs and spices, in addition to your welcome pack. The living area is focused around the old wood burner with comfortable seating for 4 and contains a selection of books and games for evening entertainment. The separate, tiled bathroom contains a multifunction shower with body jets and waterfall setting, washbasin and wc.There is wireless broadband and a speaker system suitable for an ipod or laptop available for your use in the casita and ample parking outside of the house.

Why can't I call Ginny (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ginny (the owner) a message.

If Ginny (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
