“Great location, fabulous views, could do with updating”

Reviewed 21 Feb 2016

We booked this chalet very late (early Jan for a Feb half term stay) and didn't have much in the way of choice and from that perspective, I thought we did very well to get what we did. The chalet was clean and well-equipped and in a great location. The views from the living area are fabulous and the ladies at PVR are extremely helpful and sorted everything out for us, always with a smile or a quick response by email. The chalet could do with a makeover, however, as the decor is somewhat dated and although the beds and bedding were reasonably comfortable they would be top of my list to replace! The sofas were also remarkably uncomfortable but the kids were the only ones using them, so it wasn't a problem. The chalet is so close to a blue piste, it was perfect setting out in the morning and also easy to get back to, so a big tick there. I should also mention Chloe's Catering - we were too late to have someone cook/host for us but Chloe offered to drop off a meal every night which worked out perfectly and was great value. As well as extremely tasty and plentiful - thank you Chloe! I would definitely use PVR again and would recommend them but perhaps try another chalet next time.

“Just Wonderful”

Reviewed 30 Mar 2015

This was a fabulous chalet with views to take your breath away. PVR could not have been more helpful and really went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We arrived at 6.30 am and PVR were on hand to take our luggage up to the Chalet immediately. The early delivery of fresh bread and croissants was a delight. The large bath was perfect after a long day skiing. The area was really quiet. We all giggled at hearing an alarm call outside another chalet - a young lady playing a haunting tune on her penny whistle! The snow was great, the runs nice and wide and so many! The ski school instructor was so lovely and made my rubbish skiing so much better whilst my family went all over the mountain exploring. We will definitely go again.

“Great living space and ski in ski out location, basic bedrooms and bathrooms”

Reviewed 13 Apr 2014

The chalet was comfortable and the living area was spacious. The views while sitting at the dining table were stunning and the balcony was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the late afternoon sun. The bedrooms were basic and quite small. The bathrooms were clean and a good size and there was always plenty of hot water. Shower doors rather than curtains would have made a big difference. The chalet was in a great location for ski in ski out despite the spring conditions! The walk to and from the village was steep, and the supermarket did not have a large choice if you were self catering. The village was very quiet and not a place to go if wanting après ski atmosphere! The service from PVR was friendly and efficient.
