Free on-street parking (city centre averages daily 25€!) to front of building or nearby numerous side-streets. - this barrio is the city's closest for proximity to the mainly pedestrianized historic quarters without severe parking restrictions.

Sleeping area with premium quality firm full-sprung double 135cm mattress, partially divided off with large shelving unit. Entertainment system include Sony stereo ie; CD, radio, tape & external input, flat-screen TV, DVD player & selection of movies etc for relaxation etc.

Tiled floors throughout for summer coolness. Due to the beneficial sea-wards (easterly) orientation, welcoming inshore breezes circulate throughout the entire apartment - enjoy a respite from the narrow airless confines of the Historic city (particularly apparent late at night) especially during high summer. Single fully sprung mattress/bed for third person slides away under the main double bed.

Capacious wardrobe for clothes etc. Full ceiling height large French style opening windows two with charming small balconies, although not deep-set they are quite private for sitting behind. Three of them, easterly facing, catch the full morning sunshine and overlook a delightfully verdurous & generally tranquil Convent's nursery garden - a little oasis of calm within the city - The other south facing overlooks municipal gardens. Access to private roof-top terrace for catching the sun etc.

Local market just 75 metres away. Take the first left due south off Calle Sagunto on to Santa Isabel into Plaza San pedro offering a compact but well stocked market open Tues- Sat. Excellent value supermarkets within just 3-5 mins.
. Huge revamped Lidl @ 2 min offering fantastic value delicatessen - the city's biggest & best - great selection of wines, beers etc as well as usual fare.

An eclectic mix of fascinating medievel - Art Deco through to avant-garde modernity all contained within an easy pocket size city but emanating something more with its illustrious heritage. Cosmopolitan El Carmen and the Centro Historica directly across the Serranos bridge with its resplendant marbled Plazas and it's great terraced cafes, bars and restaurants 'really is the only place to hang out'. Later excellent nightlife - in fact some of Spain's best.

Great selection of culture and recreational activities to suit all tastes.....
Valencia's possibly Europe's largest Biopark easily accessed by metro in 20 mins or less, 'stroll it' through the Turia gardens allow 45min. Visit over 1000 different species of wildlife within natural settings.

Valencia also sports excellent cycle trails (there are several bike hire shops nearby) around the city its beaches and fantastic countryside trails one recently opened dedicated cycle route starting to the west of the river Turia gardens along the Turia river northbound for over 25km - great anytime of the year - Ideally a hybrid or mountain bike is best. Stunning countryside scenery staring from the north of the city to Vilamarxant. No need to take any public roads other then a direct 200m via C.Sagunto to the river gardens and your enroute.......

“wonderful apartment, wonderful stay”

Had an absolutely lovely time in Valencia, and staying at this apartment, with its ceiling to floor windows that lets the sun flood in, really added to the experience. The apartment is in a typical spanish suburb, which is quiet (next to a nunnery/playschool) so not surrounded by tourists,but is only a few minutes walk to the main plaza of the old city. The owner, David, is ever so helpful, and very knowledgeable. The flat is up a couple of flights of old, narrow, stairs, but really are no problem. The flat itself is modern in design, spacious, and all the amenities you need. Will definately be staying here again.

“A Gem of a Short-Stay”

We can't wait to return to Valencia after the wonderful 5 days spent here this Spring; the weather was warm and sunny, the city has so much on offer, from the medieval market at El Carmen to the impressive City of Arts and Sciences, the varied and fascinating architecture, the excellent food and drink that can be found near the beach or in the heart of the city, the smell of orange blossom and the delightful Studio Sagunto which didn't disappoint: spacious, clean, comfortable, very well-equipped and in a 'real' part of the city just a few minutes walk to the Centre & opposite a baker's/cake shop which also offers tasty meals to take back to the studio to eat.

Owner's reply: Great recommendation and endorsement for this wonderful city - its true Valencia by comparison to Spain's other two major cities offers something far more subtle and overall more friendly and far less frenetic approach to life and it's truly blessed with its climate, topography and affability and invariably offers better value. Previous guests and their friends/family regularly re-book...

“A well equipped, stylish studio in convenient location with roof terrace”

We came on an early flight and David was kind enough to let us check in a couple of hours early, which made all the difference to our first day. The apartment is well equipped bright and airy and the bed comfy. The area is quiet, but close to the old town, and suited us perfectly, although if you are someone who only feels comfortable in an up market area this may not be right for you. We were drawn to this apartment partly because of the roof terrace, and it didn't fail to please..... we were up there catching the sun whenever it came out! I would certainly stay here again.

Owner's reply: Thanks for your kind recommendations. I try to be as flexible as is possible re; early arrivals to make life easier. The roof terrace is quite private and offers an interesting perspective to this barrio with its quirky mux of modern & more traditional buildings thus offering a slightly more bohemian atmosphere
