Description

Casa Amendoeira is a pretty two bedroomed air conditioned villa with maid service set amongst orange lemon and olive trees on the small privately owned Quinta da Saudade estate of 24 acres with views over farmland towards the sea. It is ideal for family holidays as there are several long sandy beaches nearby as well as sandy coves with rock pools to explore. There are a good choice of Beach Bar/Restaurants which serve freshly caught fish cooked on the BBQ

Zoo Marine and a Water Splash Park are a few minutes drive away and Salgados Golf Course is within walking distance where we have arranged special discounts for clients. There is also a wetlands nature reserve nearby with many species of birdsand unusual plants making it ideal for bird watching.

The fishing towns of Albufeira and Armacao de Pera are about 10 minutes drive away with plenty of shops, markets and nightlife. Closer to the Quinta is Guia which has many inexpensive restaurants and chicken piri-piri is a speciality. Algarve Shopping Centre with numerous shops, cinema and bowling alley is a short drive away

The Quinta has two swimming pools,a children's play area with paddling pool, tennis court, horse riding, and a pool bar which serves lunches and holds weekly BBQ's in the summer.

Fernando our on site Manager and his assistant Alice are always available in the office should you require help or information.

The terrace which has views to the sea has a table and chairs as well as sun loungers, parasol and a built in BBQ.

There are two swimming pools one on the upper level which is approximately 30 metres from the villa which is surrounded by exotic flowers and gardens, and a larger pool which has a shallow area for children.
There is also a children's play area with a paddling pool, table tennis adjacent to the pool bar and Petanque as well as crazy golf. There is a paddock with Stables and horseriding is available for the experienced rider or lessons for children on ponies. The tennis court can be booked in advance at the office. Salgados Golf Course is a short distance away and if booked at the office a discount will be given.

This villa is in a perfect peaceful location there is nothing negative I can say about the villa of location. The villa is homley and cosy with a fantastic sun trap terrace Barbecue area. The pool areas and children's park are spotless and well maintained our 3 year old granddaughter had a fantastic time she even went horse riding. A bonus is the maid service 3 times in a week my daughter left some dirty clothes on the floor when we arrived back they had all been washed and hanging out to dry. Easy acess to all local attractions car recommended easy acess to beaches, resturants zoomarnia etc we will defentaly be returning

Quinta da Saudade is tucked away in an unspoilt corner of the Algarve although it is only a 10 minute drive away from Albufeira. There are no high rise apartments to spoil the uninterrupted views across the Lagoon, which is a Wetlands Nature Reserve, towards the sea from the villa. We often walked along the walkway in the morning which runs alongside the Nature reserve and saw many interesting birds and hundreds of turtles. The villa is extremely comfortable with air conditioning is immaculately clean and well maintained. There are two pools but our favourite was the upper pool set among beautiful gardens had a wonderful feeling of tranquillity and is only seconds away from the villa. Close by are long sandy beaches where the beach bars serve freshly caught fish. There are many excellent restaurants in the locality but some evenings we barbecued on the terrace while watching the sun go down over the sea. We often had lunch at the Pool Bar where the food was enjoyable and met other families also staying at the Quinta. We will definitely go back for another holiday very soon.
