Traditional Swiss chalet renovated in 2014 in the Portes du Soleil ski area. 500 metres from Thermal Spa. Quick and easy connections to the télécabine in Champéry by mountain train (free with ski pass) or 5 mins by car. Accredited "Multipass" provider in summer - allowing unlimited access to inter-resort transport, mountain lifts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and more. Free wifi, UK Satellite TV. Storage for bikes & skis. Ideal for family holidays in winter or summer.

The chalet has 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 new bathrooms and a modern kitchen. It has modern central heating, as well as a cosy wood burning stove.

We have a south facing garden, charcoal Barbeque and covered terrace for shaded outdoor dining. The Valais region where the chalet is situated has over 300 days of sunshine per year.

The chalet is deally placed for mountain and road biking. There are extensive walking routes in the area.

The internal living area is 100 m2

Flat screen HDMI compatible TV with Swiss terrestrial TV (4 channels) & UK satellite TV (Freeview >100 channels).

It is possible to connect your computer to many more channels via our internet connection and web tv. You will need to bring a cable if you want to connect the PC to the TV - please ask for details.

Music system with iPod dock.

The chalet has a double sofa bed in addition to the 2 double beds and 2 single beds. Please let us know in advance if you would like to use this so as we can arrange bedding.

The chalet is 1km from the centre of the Swiss village of Val-d'Illiez in the Portes du Soleil, and 500 metres from the Thermal Spa "Thermes Parc". The stop on demand train is 20 metres from our doorstep and takes visitors directly to the bottom of the ski lift and to the amenities in Champéry in 14 minutes.

In winter guests can put on their ski or snowboard boots in the heated ski room and be taken directly to the bottom of the Champéry télécabine. The price of the train journey between the chalet and Champéry is included for free in the ski lift pass if purchased in Champèry. By car Champéry is 5km / 6 min. Parking is available both at the chalet and at the bottom of the lift in Champéry.

In summer we offer our guests the Portes du Soleil Multipass for free, versus the regular price of 10chf per day. The Multipass gives unlimited access to a wide choice of activities and facilities in the 12 village-resorts of the Portes du Soleil including the train to Champéry, Portes du Soleil chair lift system for hiking, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, ice rink, tennis courts in Champéry and more.

The main restaurants and supermarkets are in Champéry and are easily accessible via the train. The supermarket is right next to the train stop in Champéry as well as a restaurant and bar. A smaller supermarket, bakery and a handful of bars and restaurants are in Val-d'Illiez village centre 1km away.

The Thermal Spa is "Themes Parc" is 500m from the chalet and has a bar, restaurant and snack bar open to the public.

We have a no shoes indoors policy. Please consider bringing slippers or warm socks. The chalet has been newly renovated so we expect guests to look after it like a family home. No pets or smoking permitted.
Check in time is after 15:00, departure by 09:00. In case there is no-one staying before or after these times can be flexible, please ask!
