If you start your day with a morning walk, head for Chapora fort. It is marvellous to see the villages around waking up in a beautiful sunrise. You also have a splendid sea and river view! Next morning maybe you walk into the winding paths between the small houses in Chapora, where you really can see the locals are getting ready for the day. Chapora is just next to Vagator, which is spacier and next to the sea. Both villages have plenty of restaurants, and they alone are enough to give you a lifetime memory. A normal dinner for a family is likely to set you back rs 750. That is less than £10 ($15) - some beers and soft drinks included!
Vagator is of most visitors regarded as the most beautiful village in Goa, with its rolling hills, spots of pure jungle, and its wonderful beaches. Google on "Goa" and you are likely to find photos from Vagator among the first ones. The soft white sand, the black and high lava rocks, coconut palms, lush green landscape, calm atmosphere makes Vagator beach different from other beaches. This beautiful beach is a prime tourist destination in Goa.

You are likely to see peacocks and big monkeys anywhere in the village. The birdlife is tremendous. It is common to see 50 eagles at the same time, sailing over Chapora fort.
You will stay in a small (12 flats) complex called Tranquille and that is what it is. Located between the two main roads to the beaches, 500 meters away - bird distance. If you can´t fly it is slightly longer. Tourist facilities is very nearby, including internet service a few meters away. The complex is gated and have security 24/7 and is something else compared to the normal standard in the area. The two patios of your flat is just next to the big pool, where you will cool off any time of the day. Or maybe have a drink or two in one of the garden sets on the patios and just enjoying the sight and relaxing atmosphere.

Just south of Vagator you will make a visit to its very famous flea market (hippie market) any wednesday during season (october-april). Further south is Calangute located, the main package tour centre and far less attractive. It might be worth a visit - if only with the pure purpose to feel good to be back in Vagator again. Do not miss a visit in Panjim, the province capital. A somewhat Mediterranean city with many really good restaurants. Siesta is between 1 and 4 pm, but because of the increasing number of tourists many shops are opened during afternoon. Other good picks in Goa are the former capital Old Goa, the nature reserves, including Indias highest waterfall - Dudhsagar. But frankly, the best sights are in the many villages all over. They are full of life. In a slow laid back speed!
Children are very welcome and it is a suitable place for them.

- Two big bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two wide singles. Both have wardrobes. One do also
have a dressing table. Full ac. Attached bathrooms. Sliding doors to a patio from the master bedroom.
- The sofa bed is part of a sofa set in pure Scandinavian leather. In the living room you will also find a good dining set. A music player with cd and ipod dock station you can also find there among others. Full ac. Sliding doors to a patio.
- The kitchen is somewhat basic, but has a good fridge and a cocking station.

Next to the patios there is also a smaller grass garden, which is to used by the complex, but naturally belonged to your flat.
The pool is unheated and slightly cooler than the sea (26-30 degrees Celsius).
