Beautiful recently restored stone farmhouse, furnished to a very high standard. 2 terraces with stone tables, plenty of outdoor space. Large swimming pool and gardens. Underfloor heating/cooling system, which also serves to heat the pool to extend the season. Ping Pong table, badmington and bikes available. One of the bedrooms is in an integral 'gite' with bedroom, shower ,kitchenette and salon with sofa bed, satellite TV, wi fi etc, which can be part of the house or used as 'granny' flat. The house has 2 satellite TVs, large fireplace in main salon and telephone line. Well equipped kitchen and utility.
Large groups, corporate events: The house lends itself very well as a corporate venue. We have run various weeks such as brainstorming and study weeks for Lawyers to gain points.

The Languedoc-Roussillon region
The property is 15kms from the beautiful town of Uzes. Montpellier, Nimes, Avignon all close by. The Gard is a wonderful area of France, with an average of 300 days of sunshine a year. Sitting just where Provence meets the Languedoc, it is historic, and unspoilt.
The area is largely laid to vines, with sunflowers and some lavendar interspersed. Brilliant for walking, cycling, kayaking etc.
Uzes has a huge and famous Saturday market.

"A gorgeous house in the most idyllic surroundings"
I came here with my boyfriend in May, the perfect time to visit if you ask me, as it wasn't too hot (though it was a little windy) and we could not have asked for a better time. The house and its surroundings are simply stunning, particularly THAT kitchen, which was an absolute delight to cook in, as there is just so much space. We spent many hours sitting on the lovely little terrace, vines right above our heads and wafts of lavender drifting through from the garden. As well as relax with a good book and glass of rose in hand, you can swim, cycle, play boules, ping pong, cards & board games, and much more. We thoroughly enjoyed our lengthy strolls past vineyards and fields of sunflowers, our frequent trips to the bar at the top of the hill and days out in the nearby town, Uzes. For anyone looking to get away from it all for a few days and soak up the sunshine and rural French life, I'd highly recommend staying at the mas, whether it's with friends, family or your other half- I can still hear those chirpy cicadas urging me to return...
Thank you for taking the time to help us by reviewing the house. We will be offering B&B again periodically from April to mid July next summer, 2016, should you or any of your friends and family want to visit again. We do hope you do, it was so much fun having you here.
