Sited in a small private complex of 23 apartments and houses in one of the most sought after areas of Kato Paphos. It is within a 20 minute level walk of a wide selection of shops, restaurants, beaches and the harbour. A convenience store, takeaway and a selection of restaurants are a mere 5 minutes away. The property overlooks a lagoon shaped pool with a large sunbathing area. The large kitchen/dining area is fully fitted and benefits from doors leading to a large patio overlooking the pool area. An archway leads to the spacious lounge also with patio doors to the front. The master bedroom is en-suite and there are two further large twin bedrooms and a family bathroom. The proximity of the pool to the patio / sunbathing area and the fact that the apartment is on the ground floor makes this an ideal apartment for chldren of all ages and guests with mobility problems. Paphos Water Park is only a short drive or bus ride away. High chairs and cots are available by arrangement (small fee payable locally).

The property is professionally maintained by a local (British) agent who is on hand to assist with any problems. Contact details and other local information can be found in the welcome pack provided. The apartment is only a 20 minute drive from Paphos airport or approximately 90 minutes from Larnaca Airport via the motorway.

The Paphos District

The West Coast of Cyprus is worthy of exploration for the variety of scenery, fishing villages, historic sites and close proximity to the Troodos Mountains and many monastries. There are plenty of signposted footpaths and cycle routes throughout the mountain area.

Universal

Paphos is a bustling town with some 30,000 inhabitants. In addition to the local population a large contingent of British people have set up home in the area enjoying the benefits of the long months of sunshine in an area of outstanding natural beauty both coastal and inland.

The town itself is a contrast of both very old and new harmonising together to produce a vibrant array of modern amenities yet retaining the air of a more gentle past. Several local areas have been designated a UNESCO world heritage site and for the historians there is no shortage of ancient sites to explore. The local authorities have recently submitted Paphos as a candidate to be European city of culture for 2017. In our opinion Paphos will be a strong contender for this role.

In the centre you will discover many household names such as Marks & Spencer, Next, Mothercare, trading alongside local boutiques, gift shops and jewellers. The markets are the place to search for local Cypriot crafts and the local farmers selling their produce and honey.

The property is situated within a 20 minute walk of the beach, harbour , shops and restaurants, with a selection of restaurants and a 24 hour convenience store just a short stroll away.

All in all we think you will find the Paphos area a delightful place to holiday. Communications are good with a frequent and inexpensive bus service. Driving is on the left, with road signs in English as well as Greek. English is widely spoken and the Cypriots are very friendly people.

We feel once you have experienced the delights of Cyprus, you will want to return again and again.
