The surrounding jungle creates a sublime ambiance, where monkeys and birds abound. The landscape gardens present a vast variety of tropical flowers.

Had a wonderful stay here: the welcome was personal even at 0500 am; the view is fantastic and the location is in the heart of the town; shops and the beach are in walking distance. The food - in particular the breakfast - is delicious and varied. The apartments are well equipped with a personal touch with art objects. It is very quiet and ideal to relax.

"Totally unique and fab"
This is a very unique property with stunning views and an excellent host. From start to finish Tony helped with anything he could along with his well balanced opinion on the local village and its facilities. This property is built to very high standards (local man lives on site with his family). The finishes is very unique and very tasteful indeed and kept to very high standards at all times. Tony keeps the garden immaculate along with the property and is usually available for advice if needed, yet gives you plenty of privacy. The property is divided into three or could be one so very diverse. We stayed on lower floor and still had a great balcony with visiting monkeys most mornings to watch while having breakfast. This was prepared by a lovely lady Padma who lives on second floor with her family and she can provide you with a excellent fresh local breakfast on request at great value to your preferred timings within reason, likewise with a dinner if you wish not to dine out. The whole set up of the Penthouse property makes it outstanding. The climb up the 67 steps to the first property is worth every step to have such a great view and just off the front away from the noise from beach discos. My partner with a bad leg did not moan once as the end result was worth it! Would we return.... you bet we would and hopefully will do. Unawatuna is a lovely town, great beach and happy friendly people with a great climate. Tony has set this business up in a great location and with the help of a very friendly local family created what I would say is a most unique and beautiful accommodation and not to be missed, somewhere I will be recommending to my friends if they chose Sri Lanka as there destination. We Loved The Place, no negatives in our eyes. Merry Christmas Tony, Padma and all many thanks for making our holiday very special!
