Maruti Lane is a very charming 5 bedrooms villa imagined by a famous Australian interior designer and is located in a very quiet small paved no through road, closed to cars. It is immediately surrounded by Ubud's famous restaurants, galleries, boutiques, monkey forest in walking distance.

Perfect for people who wish to rest, relax and be still in the heart of Ubud town. Air-condition in all rooms and fully fanned areas are some of the main features of the villa.

Maruti Lane Villa will offer you the unique opportunity to stay in the actual centre of Ubud and enjoying all the prevailing breezes.

You will be able to walk everywhere : restaurants, boutiques, galleries, yoga studios, day spas, monkey forest, ubud market, ubud palace, all within less than 5 minutes. You will not need to worry about taking a car or scooter as Maruti Lane Villa is close to everything. It is without any doubt the best location in ubud.

The small neatly paved "no through" road is closed to cars, very quiet and secluded. It is off Jalan Dewi Sita Street. You immediately enter a hidden world and be at home with the opportunity to feel the real Balinese and artistic atmosphere.

This 405 sqm property has been designed as two separate villas, each with its own separate entrance and grounds inside the main gate. The top floor of Villa 1 and the top floor of Villa 2 are connected by a steel walkway.

The main design elements include terracotta, celadon ceramic tiles, white marble and natural concrete rendering, clay exterior finishes, and Javanese and Balinese antique teak joinery. Special attention was paid throughout the building to interior and exterior damp-proofing - vital in this climate.

Villa 1. Two Master Bedrooms Ensuite

The top floor has large separate areas for living, bedroom, sitting, dressing, and bathroom. Because of the high elevation it has extensive views over the surrounding areas.

The ground floor has a self-contained sitting, bedroom and bathroom area with two outdoor sitting areas.

This ground floor opens up into the large communal family/kitchen/dining room area. The grounds are nil maintenance and include a beautiful outdoor dining section and a productive vegetable garden.

Villa 2. Three Master Bedrooms Ensuite

The top floor has two bedrooms and bathroom areas (including a balcony with a handmade bath), and a sitting area with all available breezes and extensive unencumbered views over the surrounding areas.

The ground floor has an outdoor open sitting area, TV room, a bedroom and ensuite, a side verandah, and a very large verandah area for sitting and dining fronted by a celadon-tiled filtered pool area.

The pavilion, temples and gardens are all walled, making the entire ground area of this villa very private.

The entrance into this garden features 4m high traditional gate construction with beautiful hand-painted antique traditional gate doors from Singaraja. The 3.5m high retaining wall is of steel reinforced concrete beam design.

Why can't I call Mélodie (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mélodie (the owner) a message.

If Mélodie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
