This spacious 3-bedroom villa with private pool at Villa Agung Khalia is set amongst terraced rice fields on the outskirts of Ubud. The bedrooms have air conditioning and overhead fan, along with ensuite bathrooms. The villa can sleep up to 7 guests (we also have two other 3-bedroom villas next door, so we can accommodate up to 21 guests with comfort and privacy). The villa offers the peace and tranquility of the 'real' Bali yet is 10-12 minutes from Ubud's cultural performances, shops, museums and gourmet restaurants using our free shuttle. For a relaxing stay 'away from it all' enjoy a morning cup of coffee on your balcony as the sun lights up Gunung Agung, read a novel in your poolside gazebo, or explore the daily life of the Balinese in the nearby villages. For those wishing to stay connected you have free wireless and satellite TV with international channels.

Each villa has 3 bedrooms, each with private bathrooms attached. Two additional day-beds are located in the upstairs living room, and a half-bathroom is located next to the downstairs living room. There is a full kitchen, an outside dining area for 4, and a traditional inside dining area for 6 to 8 guests. Pool towels and chaise lounge chairs are available poolside. There are overhead fans in every bedroom, living area and balcony. There are carved, open vents above each window that allow for a natural flow of air throughout the villa, yet the window and door screens keep out the unwanted insects that are common in other outdoor living villas. Air conditioning is available for those that feel the need, but with the engineered cool air-flow design you will find you don't need a/c as reflected in our guest reviews. Our Gracious Balinese staff are on-site 24 hours a day and are happy to help with all of your vacation needs.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Darren (the owner) a message.

    If Darren (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
