Description from owner

Description

This quite stunning and homely apartment is situated in one of the finest locations in Northumberland. Tynemouth village is just a few minutes walk from the apartment, where the fabulous range of bars / restaurants and lovely range of shops can be found. The metro link is also within walking distance to take you into Newcastle.

The apartment is situated on the second floor and has open coastal views from the lounge and two bedrooms. So you can wake up to some gorgeous views each morning and continue to look out to sea whilst eating your breakfast! See the range of photos. If you cross the road, there is a great café on the beach, which does a mean hot chocolate.

The apartment can comfortably sleep 4 people (via two king size beds). There is also a camp bed to sleep one other person (child) and a travel cot for that special little one. Thinking of the little ones, there is also a high chair – so hopefully some of your key needs will be met.

The master bedroom has an en-suite, and there is also a family bathroom. The large, open plan lounge / kitchen and dining area has been furnished to a high standard and is really comfortable. This is a great socialising space. If you do need a bit of peace though, the landing is light and airy and big, which is great for sitting in a comfy chair to read the paper / book and relax. There is also Wifi should you need internet access.

Our apartments are professionally cleaned before and after any guest stays (no interim cleaning included)

Long or short lets are available.

Unfortunately, we have a strict No Pets policy at the property for guests.

Location description from owner

The England region

Tynemouth is a town and a historic borough in Tyne & Wear, England at the mouth of the River Tyne. Its history dates back to an Iron Age settlement and its strategic position on a headland over-looking the mouth of the Tyne continued to be important through to the Second World War. Its historic buildings, dramatic views and award-winning beaches attract visitors around the world. The heart of the town, known by residents as "The village", has popular coffee-shops, pubs and restaurants. It is a prosperous area with comparatively expensive housing stock, ranging from Georgian terraces to Victorian ship-owners' houses to 1960s "executive homes". It is represented at Westminster by the Labour MP Alan Campbell. Wikipedia

“Lovely Apartment Right by the Beach”

Reviewed 28 Jun 2016

Booked as weekend accommodation for a beach party at Crusoes Cafe on Longsands (right below the property). The apartment is lovely - spacious, modern and fresh - with amazing views. The kids (old and young) loved the Foosball in the bedroom. It was excellent for our needs (2 adults + 10 year old staying over - but could fit more easily). Easy to get to the beach for swimming and boogie boarding (or surfing and SUP if weather is favourable - hire on beach), but bring a wetsuit for the North Sea. For those with limited mobility, there are a lot of stairs but even with a broken foot I could manage them with the help of the bannisters and because the rise is relatively small and the steps are wide. When you arrive, don't be put off by the lobby downstairs - it is fabulous at the top.

Thank you for your positive comments, much appreciated
