If you want a luxury holiday then Olive Villa is the place for you. We fell in love with the villa when we first saw it and in October 2018 became the proud owners.
The property is superbly situated in a private elevated position looking out across a valley on the edge of Turunc. It has breath taking views of the surrounding mountains and is only a 15 minute walk to the beach and the centre of Turunc and only a 10 minute stroll to the nearest supermarket and a variety of restaurants and other shops. Part of the road near the villa is unmade and may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties. Taxis to and from the village are readily available and inexpensive.
This two double bedroom, two shower room (one en-suite) architect designed villa has been finished to a very high specification, and is furnished and equipped to a high standard. There is air-conditioning in the bedrooms and the living area.
Olive Villa is designed with modern open plan living in mind. An impressively large entrance hall flows into the spacious living and dining space and then onto the fully equipped kitchen / breakfast area. From the living area, there are double sliding patio doors which flood the villa with natural light and lead straight out onto the terrace and pool area. The terrace has a sitting area with a table and chairs and a separate table for dining al fresco against the panoramic backdrop of the mountains.
The private pool is a good size and has been attractively designed - the pool is floodlit at night. Please note that the pool is closed from 1st November to 31st March.
The garden has several large patio areas for sunbathing and dining and there is a built in BBQ at the side of the house.
Support and advice, should you need it, is on hand throughout your stay from the local managing agents who are based in the village just 10 minutes away. They are there to make sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible.
Marmaris is only 45 minutes away by water taxi (30 mins by car) where you can spend the day browsing in the Bazaar or admiring the impressive selection of super yachts and designer shops at the Marina. Amos and Kumlubuk are in nearby bays down the coastline in the opposite direction and offer a contrast to the hustle and bustle of Marmaris. Beyond that the Bozburun peninsula offers a variety of things to do and places to see.
The Turunc market is held every Monday and is very popular with locals and tourists alike. You can purchase everything from souvenirs to local produce but don't forget to haggle!
If you want to travel further afield, Turkey has an interesting history - you can see the remains of the Anatolian civilisation throughout the country. The most famous is Ephesus, a World Heritage Site home to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World: The Temple of Artemis. Rhodes is only a 38km ferry trip away from Marmaris and there is a range of tours available to book locally in the village.
You don't need to hire a car to enjoy a holiday in Turunc. Airport transfers, if needed, can be arranged through us.
