Cozy 33 sqm furnished studio located in a animated and bohemian street in the heart of the city, 5 minutes walking from City Center (Piazza Castello) just one block from the Old Pedestrian Area called "Quadrilatero Romano" famous for restaurants, pubs and entertainments.
Located at the 3rd floor of a High standing XIX century building fully renovated in 2012, it can accomodate conveniently 2 guests. When we have planned the layout, we started from the idea to provide a 4-stars standard in terms of quality of furnitures, bathroom fittings and appliances, but with a personal touch of style and attention to give to our Guests the feeling to stay in a real house and not in a temporary and anonimous Hotel accommodation.
For this reason, the studio has been completed with a fully equipped kitchen with a big fridge and dish washer, a table for 4 people and sofa easily transformable in a very comfortable 140 x 200 bed !! The Piedmont region
Visiting Turin means to go on a tour of the city's historical centre taking in the museums and foundations that reconstruct its history and reveal its artistic and cultural treasures. This includes Europe's largest collection of archaeological finds at the Egyptian Museum, or the more recent history of the 'seventh art' brilliantly presented at the National Museum of Cinema, the exceptional treasure of ancient art held in Palazzo Madama, and then of course, Palazzo Reale, the powerhouse behind Italy's very first capital.
Turin is also a vital point of reference for contemporary art: works and installations produced over the last thirty years by internationally famous artists are placed for all to see in the open air or on display at the country's most important Museum of Contemporary Art within the 17th century Castle of Rivoli.
The mainly baroque art of the many places of worship in the town's centre blends with the spirituality to be found therein: the Sanctuary of the Consolata and the Sanctuary of Maria Ausiliatrice are a couple of Turin's best loved churches. Other places that are a must are the Duomo where there will be held the Ostension of the Holy Shroud in the spring, the twin churches in Piazza San Carlo, and the Church of San Lorenzo with its famous dome by Guarini or the Basilica of Superga which, as well as holding the tombs of the Savoy family, also offers a breathtaking view of the city and mountains. Lastly, just a stone's throw from the city centre, palaces, castles and fortresses dominate the hills, plains and mountains of the province of Turin. These are of inestimable value and some of the most outstanding are the Royal Residences, a legacy of exceptional cultural and environmental interest, leading to their denomination as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
Turin has a long History as a Roman's Town. It has been the first Capital of Italy and the Kingdom's centerof Savoia's Royal family for centuries.
The area where the Studio's location is steeped in history for the most City's animated and colorful Antiques flea Market called “Balon” and has many excellent restaurants, cafes and shops.
For Guests coming to taste good and fresh food, the Porta Palazzo Food market is just one block far. It is the Europe's greatest market where you can buy vegetable, fruits, meat and regional cheese.
The district called "Quadrilatero Romano" is just on the other side of the square where this market is. Walking in this area you will find cozy coffee and wine bar as just the old Turin can offer.
It is an ideal location when coming to explore everything the city of Turin has to offer, with it's wonderful galleries, museums, restaurants and historic buildings.
You don't need to drive your car because all the main points of interest are within a short walking , or you can use a lot of convenient Public transportation just located down the street.
